Luigis Gelato

Was out for a walk today with kids and it was quite hot day. Luckily I ended up near Luigis Gelato. Saw quite bargains price for milkshake. I ordered only one as its big enough to share in between 2 kids. When milkshake was handed ower to me my daughter was like:strawberry to me and I said brother gonna share he's milkshake but just before she started to cry man who made milkshake said I'm gonna give it to you free of charges. He took small coffe cup and filed it with whats was left ower from milkshake I ordered and we anded up with full coffee cup of milkshake. He even placed cup on it and put straw in it. So generous from him literally best customer service. When I will be next time in Portsmouth I come for milkshake or ice-cream. Thanks for making my child happy..

This place is a favourite of our daughter for years. The ice cream tastes amazing. Fresh, bursting with flavour, and just the right amount of sweetness. They make daily small batch of their ice cream themselves in the shop with fresh dairy. Today, the shop owner kindly showed us the back of the shop where the ice cream was made. There were pasteurisation machine where the fresh dairy would go, an ice cream maker and a freezer. I can testify that everything there looks spotless and squeaky clean! He then explained to us the process of ice cream making, which is rather a science and an art. I can also see a diploma certificate on the wall on the subject. I can't believe how lucky we are in Southsea to have a place like this. The ice cream tastes great, the place is great and the owner are very polite, knowledgeable, and obviously passionate about gelato.
