Cocktails - always tasty.
First time eaten food there: cheese and bacon burger - big and delicious. My butterfly chicken breast - over-cooked and little bit too dry and too salty. I don’t like hot meat to be placed on mixed salad as you cannot really eat the salad anymore. Would see the little salad
We had a bottomless brunch for 17 of us for a works do. We had our own area set up the top. Our waitress was amazing, she constantly kept our drinks topped up (we had loads) and she was very attentive. Very good food and amazing staff! At night it gets busy in there, nice atmosphere and you can get a drink from the bar very fast compared to other places on Palmerston road. My favourite place in Southsea!
Came in for a few cocktails and food and was served by JJ. Very friendly and charming. Atmosphere and food + drinks were good too. Definitely coming back again 😁

Dropped in for a quick last minute cocktail. The staff were very friendly and served us straight away. The bar had lovely decor and a lovely ambience and the cocktail that we had was amazing. Will look forward to going back another day.

The whole experience of The Monarch was amazing! Great atmosphere, fantastic bottomless brunch and superb service from all the staff especially Vicky who looked after us on our visit. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

Myself & 5 friends had your Bottomless Brunch yesterday (Sunday). It was really good, especially compared to others we have had. Great cocktails and tasty food. Thanks to Sunny for looking after us do well. Would definitely recommend 👍

Good place for a weekend out in Portsmouth. Enjoyed the music, and the cocktails were very good with fair prices. I'm definitely coming back.
We went on Tuesday 6th September. A wonderful atmosphere and a warm welcome from our server Sonnie who was brilliant the whole evening. Our drinks were 10/10 taste and look wise as well as our food. Compliments to everyone here :)
