Cocktails - always tasty. First time eaten food there: cheese and bacon burger - big and delicious. My butterfly chicken breast - over-cooked and little bit too dry and too salty. I don’t like hot meat to be placed on mixed salad as you cannot really eat the salad anymore. Would see the little salad with dressing instead on a side. Fries were very tasty.

We had a bottomless brunch for 17 of us for a works do. We had our own area set up the top. Our waitress was amazing, she constantly kept our drinks topped up (we had loads) and she was very attentive. Food was delicious and they catered well for the vegetarian and vegan we had in our party. I definitely recommend the Mango Daiquiri cocktail, that was the best! I would definitely go back and felt it was great value for money!

We recently visited for bottomless brunch and we had a great time! The staff were all really attentive and friendly, Jack & Brandon in particular - they made sure we had lots of fun, thank you both!

Very good food and amazing staff! At night it gets busy in there, nice atmosphere and you can get a drink from the bar very fast compared to other places on Palmerston road. My favourite place in Southsea!

Came in for a few cocktails and food and was served by JJ. Very friendly and charming. Atmosphere and food + drinks were good too. Definitely coming back again 😁

Dropped in for a quick last minute cocktail. The staff were very friendly and served us straight away. The bar had lovely decor and a lovely ambience and the cocktail that we had was amazing. Will look forward to going back another day.

Staff are super friendly and attentive. The cocktails are superb The atmosphere is really calm in the week and was my favourite bar in Portsmouth 5* 👌🍹🍸🍷

The whole experience of The Monarch was amazing! Great atmosphere, fantastic bottomless brunch and superb service from all the staff especially Vicky who looked after us on our visit. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back!
