Really enjoyed the cheese scone with chilli jam and very nice spiced apple warmer. Please bring back the sausage roll, it was one of the best in Southsea. Friendly service and I also like the various seating areas.
Yummy sausage and egg sour dough butty! Managed to sit outside over looking the tennis courts. Great service and lovely coffee.
I ordered the ‘soup of the day’ which was broccoli and blue cheese, was really nice and a good portion! Wasn’t too pricey and it was nice to sit outside and people watch at canoe lake
I really love it here, I went Friday during breakfast and saw something on the lunch menu so I visited twice in 3 days, the service was great both times and the food was just fantastic. As a vegan it isn't always easy to get food thats different and exciting but they always manage it here. I'll be back soon.
Amazing breakfast. I'd say the best in Portsmouth... The poached eggs on toast with tomato is just fantastic. Definitely visit this lovely place! The coffee is also fantastic.
A fabulous hideaway that serves a variety of freshly made food especially to my delight, vegetarian.
The venue was welcoming and extremely helpful too. It was very popular when I visited and was a mix of young families through to seniors.
Quickly becoming a local favourite, I love it and the dog loves it too, not much more to ask for. Prices comparative to Costa or Starbucks, but a real freshly made environment makes all the food and coffee excellent.
Lovely place for a coffee and chat with your friends. Friendly staff, lovely coffee and woohoo no extra charge for alternative milk. I didn't eat but the menu looked very nice.

A really welcoming cafe, with a cosy and relaxing interior which was very well decorated. Staff were very friendly and as first timers to this cafe, it was nice to see the staff interacting with the regulars. Dogs are also welcome at this cafe as well which is a plus point for me! I loved the Full English, and I heard good things about the bacon baguette too, my toddler gave his approval of the kids breakfast with sausages too. We didn't try the cakes, but they looked delicious.
We shared a great visit to Cafe Fresco when we were on a long walk.
Stopped by for coffee initially, that was until we saw the food menu and then the cake/dessert display! So we ended up with a baguette, Mac and cheese, Portuguese tart and a moist chocolate chip cookie.
The food was delicious, very tasty and obviously freshly prepared. Our cookie and tart were just the thing to eat while being washed down with the coffee.
Overall a great visit, friendly and helpful staff. We shall be returning and anticipate a great summer for this cafe; great location and loads of outdoor seating.
