My favourite Thai in Portsmouth. Always nice staff and good food.
Enjoyed a mid week dinner here with my parents, they frequently visit this restaurant so I thought I'd join them!
It's a small restaurant along a parade of shops in Southsea and has a nice independent owned vibe, always prefer these types of places.
The service and staff are very friendly and attentive. Our waiter knew a few quirks of my parents and tailored the evening to their preferences.
Our food was served in a reasonable timeframe and was very hot, so obviously fresh. We shared three starters between us three plus prawn crackers. This was plenty of food to wet the whistle.
Mother usually asks for a small break in between start and main dishes but this time opted not to; must have been hungry. The mains followed around 10-15 minutes after our starters were cleared which was fine by me.
Main dishes were again, very hot and freshly prepared. I enjoyed all of them specifically the lamb massaman.
The menu has a lot to offer so would suit most tastes and also includes an extensive vegetarian selection which is good.
Overall, will visit again and enjoyed my evening.
Generally this is our go to, once a month as a treat, but it seems we have ordered twice this week!!
We have tried a few different meals, but now have our favourites.
The veg are fresh and crunchy, the chicken or prawns are always plentiful. Our meal is delivered quick no matter if it's a weekend or a week day. It's hot and very tasty.
Wonderful food every time.
The food was so filling and amazing, we double checked whether the chicken was halal, which to my surprise it was, a BIG thumbs up 👍🏼I ordered the Chicken Satay for starters and a Green Thai Prawn curry with sticky rice. Couldn't fault my order in any way really enjoyed my food considering it was my first time here.
Great food, fantastic service. Cooked by a husband and wife who are from Thai. So you get authentic taste. Would definitely go back..highly recommended.
I popped in a few weeks ago as I saw that there was a lunch deal. Friendly server and fresh interior. Really enjoyed the sweetcorn fritters and chicken pad thai and I intend to return to try their massaman curry. Comfortable to visit on your own.
Note: sweetcorn fritters best I have tried.
Best Thai Food I’ve ever had in the UK. Authentic Thai taste with reasonable price. The restaurant is cozy and cute decoration. Staffs are so lovely. Definitely come back again. 👍👍👍
Absolutely incredible little restaurant. My girlfriend and I stumbled upon here by chance. Food was incredible and very reasonable prices. Polite and chatty staff. Would definitely like to visit again.
