Amigos

I've ordered from Amigos a lot of times and I can happily say I have always been left extremely happy and very satisfied as a regular customer. The staff are really kind and helpful, the menu is versatile and diverse and the flavours add to the experience. The meals are a great price and i will continue to order and recommend Amigos to anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of trying it out yet. Great job everyone and long may it continue 😁😁

We first bought from Amigos, shortly after it opened. The food was good but the portions were small, which made it too expensive really. Yesterday, we decided to buy from there again , as a treat. My goodness, the portion sizes are now so big and the food is still good. We may become regulars now after all.

Wow wow wow!! 1st time getting food from Amigos! My goodness! 😱 The portion sizes are incredible!! I had to share my sweet potato fries from my meal out as couldn’t eat them all along side my HUGE burrito! So much filling! Juicy pulled beef soo moist, succulent and tons of it! Brilliant prices also for what you get, you could easily share one main meal of a burrito, chips and drink between 2 people as there was soo much food! Will definitely be coming here again! ❤️❤️❤️🌯🌯

Have driven past this takeaway many times and always observed how busy it seemed, and having found it difficult to find a decent burrito in the Portsmouth and surrounding areas I thought I'd put my past disappointments behind me and give this establishment a try. First impression was of how clean tidy and well presented the place was. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the co owner took time out to have a friendly chat about his business and future visions for his business, telling me about how he had provided free food for essential workers at a local school and doing his bit for the local community! Anyway, back to the food, I opted for the burrito, there are three main filling options one of which caters for vegetarians, I went for the pulled beef choice, it comes with rice and three add on options for the filling, I went for Mozzarella, pineapple salsa and to spice it up the Amigos Salsa. Whilst it was being prepared there was a steady trade of walk in customers and delivery drivers, so they do have a delivery service and are on the usual takeaway food apps, seeing that it was busy and this was a midweek Wednesday evening was a very reassuring and good sign. After not too long a wait my food was ready, very well presented in paper type food carrier bag with no environmentally unfriendly plastic to be seen. I took out the well wrapped and generous sized portion burrito, the first bite confirmed my expectations that this was going to be a good choice of takeaway, I was not disappointed in any way, the blend of my choice of fillings worked very well together there was plenty of pulled beef and the ballance between the heat of the Amigos Salsa and pineapple salsa was spot on the overall ballance of all the fillings was also spot on! On this my first experience I can 100% recommend the Burrito as it is hands down the best in the area. I will be returning to try other things on the menu but I suspect due to the excellent culinary experience I had with that burrito I will probably order the same one again!

The most delicious Cajun boneless wings I have ever eaten. Juicy and well marinated and well cooked fresh meat. Very impressive. Can take a bit of time for order to get ready but worth the wait. We also ordered the ghost quesadilla. Sweet potato fries weren’t that good: but it’s a Mexican place and completely forgivable.

First time we've ordered from here and I'm very impressed. It took a little while to prep our order but it was definitely worth the wait, the food is really very good. We had a mixture of.Burritos, Fajitas and some Boneless Cajun Chicken Thighs. Personally I think the meal deal isn't necessary as mains are substantial without the fries but it's still good value all the same. Will definitely order again.
