Messy Chef

Messy chef is an amazing local restaurant. It has a nice cosy atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious food. There is street parking available. All the food is halal. We got the messy hot dog, loaded beef nachos, and classic wings. The portion sizes are extremely good. As well as the messy burger and milkshakes. The messy burger was my favourite. The smashed patties are cooked to perfection and it is well seasoned. Juicy burger. Their shakes are really good too, good flavour and they don’t dilute the chocolate. The staff were very good, food came out very fast. Food was delicious. Price was okay too. They off NHS discount 10%. They also have kombucha as a drink option. Overall a great restaurant and I’ll definitely be back!

We were craving burgers and this was the first place we came across. My chicken burger was the best I have ever had, and my partner throughly enjoyed his beef one. We also had the beef topped nachos which were delicious. Lovely quirky establishment, and the owner was very friendly and chatty. Will definitely visit again the next time we are in Portsmouth.

What an absolute gem of a place. Booked in yesterday after reading the reviews and honestly it very much lived up to the hype. The two owners were the most loveliest of guys, humble, knowledgable and just so much passion for the food and the industry they are in! The wings are outrageously crispy and juicy and the burger was a proper get your hands messy type of dish. Just incredibly yummy. 100% worth the visit, will be returning as soon as we can!
