All the dishes were so great!
The mussels were very very tasty, the red sauce with the burger was AMAZING and everything on the cod fish was incredible!
The deserts, the chocolate pot was so good and the sticky toffee puddin was amazing.
The place is very nice and the staff is great!

Our experience at Harry's Shack was top notch. Our host graciously accomodated our family when we showed up without a reservation and provided the BEST surf n turf I have ever had. The service at the outside bar and at our table was warm and friendly and the atmosphere was delightful. I can't wait to go back!
Although we arrived just after lunch, the staff were very helpful and after a walk along the strand we had an amazing meal at the start of the evening service.
The food was stunning (will try to recreate the amazing mussels at home!) and the service professional and charming, despite the fact it got very busy very quickly.
Well worth the trip from the Netherlands!
It’s taken me 6 years to find gluten free, freshly battered fish. The smile on my face was clear to see! Location, food, staff & atmosphere all excellent & was particularly busy for a Monday! Epic views & worth the 1hr drive from Donegal, can’t wait to visit again.
We pulled into town hungry and looking for seafood, so we tried Harry's Shack based on a Google search. Did we hit the jackpot with Harry's Shack! We've been traveling throughout Northern Ireland on a week long holiday and it was easily the best meal we've had on the entire trip! The service was great and the chowder had more fish than broth--absolutely spot on. The mussels were delicious, and even the onion rings were huge and super tasty. It was a fantastic meal!
This cozy restaurant has left the best impression. The atmosphere is chill and cool. The staff are really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about. Food was amazing, I had the mussels which were cooked to perfection and my partner had the Carlingford oysters which he said were succulent and flavorful. We both had the Green castle brill on the bone, it was opaque, flaky, and moist 100% worth it, we will definitely be back.
What a nice place on the beach to grab a drink and some food! The staff here were so lovely, the woman that served me was really was so happy and friendly. Ordered some mussels which came with the bread. The mussels were so tasty, a coconut-y sauce with samphire, something I hadn’t had with mussels before, but I really loved it! Definitely recommend if you’re after some seafood at the beach!

Harry's has a serious chef here. The seafood they make is cooked perfectly and packed full of flavour. I had the Plaice and a chocolate pot to die for. They also have fish and chips and steak for those looking for something more traditional. Staff were excellent and the setting is spectacular overlooking Portstewart Strand. Just be warned, you may need to pay for parking.
Lovely lunch today- my first visit. Friendly helpful staff and very tasty food - properly hot mustard dip for the steak sandwich! Citra IPA brewed in Portrush an excellent accompaniment to this. Hotter plates would have been good as it cooled down quite quickly. Would I go back? Absolutely! //Just realised i didn't post this before we visited again this weekend! My view still stands. The burger was delicious and a pint of Barmouth lager was very tasty. It was great again!
