Called in twice while on holiday. First time we had fish and chips ( more like whale and chips), scampi and side salad, and ham egg and chips. Trencherman portions of well cooked food.
Tonight was the same order but no whale - instead it was gammon chips and peas. Again it was good portions. Well cooked and flavoursome.
The pub was busy tonight with just the one young man waiting on, but he worked like a Trojan (if I could I would have given him six stars), made sure everyone was kept happy and was still cheerful and friendly. Brilliant!
Nice food, good selection of choices (including veggie & vegan options), quick service and friendly staff.
Just knocked off a star as the live singer that was there insulted the audience after singing one song, and then seemed disgruntled that he didn’t get a standing ovation or applause at the end (he said ‘I hope you guys liven up soon’), and then proceeded to walk off drink 3+ pints of beer at the bar. It was a Sunday afternoon, and it was a bit odd having live music when everyone was just trying to enjoy a Sunday lunch and conversation (might be more suited to a Friday or Saturday night?)
Other than that, we had a nice time, the staff were really friendly, food was served incredibly quickly and we left feeling full.

A place worth a visit!
The meals were very well presented and reasonably priced.
The portions are very generous.
A lovely looking place inside and I look forward to trying other items on the menu especially desserts 🍨 🥧
Amazing. Went the other day. Bar tender was sweet and very accommodating. And the Chef went above and beyond after I told him about my favourite dish not being available at another restaurant that advertised it. Even though it wasn't on the menu he still prepared it for me. Although I don't expect that on future visits it was the best version of that dish I've ever had. Amazing, talented and hope that oneday I'll see it on your menus 🤗 Thank-you
Delicious lunch on a Wednesday. We ordered two 20" pizzas, the 'Quattro Formagio', and the 'Gladiator' (meat feast). Both were fantastic, hot, tasty with a great crust.
The staff were friendly and attentive, a faultless meal.
Had a lovely meal today. Never visited before. The staff were lovely and made you feel welcome. The food was freshly made. Good value for money. Greek salad. Deluxe cheeseburger. Both really nice. Be back soon. 😁
A great place to eat, lots of great variety. Good prices and food too. Did have to wait 1 hour for our food after ordering but the food and staff made up for it. Daisy was a great waitress, lovely girl and a credit to the place. Great for families too.
Had a lovely meal here this evening. Food was delicious. Service was great. Staff put the England game on for my husband and son. Most of all though, the staff were lovely. They were quite busy but were smiling and friendly throughout. As we left, my son asked if we could come again.
What a lovely welcome as soon as we entered Norada. Attentive staff Evie & Mecenzie who served us and directed us to our table. From the minute we arrived at our table we were offered drinks and given our menus. Ordered our starters which arrived promptly as place was full not one table was empty. We ordered salt and pepper squid, garlic mushrooms, nachos and that alone was like a main dish. Our mains were a gut buster omg .. kebabs, steaks, fish, lasagne and to top it off all 7 of us had takeaway boxes as the food was so much. Everyone around us was amazed at the size portions and quality of the food coming out. Met the landlord Costa such an amazing honest friendly and could not do enough for us and his staff. This is a must stop venue and the landlord was telling us plans for the future and can’t wait to return next year.
Really nice place to come and enjoy a drink and watch the boats go by. Dog friendly so after a nice walk in the sun along the water way it was lovely to stop off with the family for a drink and bite to eat. Reasonably priced drink and food. Light bites menu, main meals and sandwiches on offer. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Although they are renovating (Aug 2018) at the moment you'll still enjoy a pleasant riverside pub with a drink outside in the shade or sun as well as a cool pleasant bar area inside with a pool table. Definately recommend.
