Went to the Manor yesterday and was very impressed with it. Very good service, bar staff were very knowledgeable about their products, the food was super with large portions and the desert I had the toffee sundae was without doubt the tastiest ever desert I have had in my 56 years on this planet! I would recommend this place to anyone
Excellent food and service today. Very busy but staff attentive and great food. Pomegranate salad was so tasty and everyone's meal was cooked perfectly. A great place to meet and eat. Would recommended.
We visited a few days ago, a lovely establishment to visit, it’s very cosy and very relaxing. I do love the fact you can bring your dogs inside. We had coffee upon arrival which were nice. Then decided to have some lunch, I ordered the roast chicken. It was delicious and probably one of the best I’ve had. The pricing wasn’t too bad for what we got. The atmosphere was also great. I took one star off the service ranking merely because I had noticed that the staff weren’t attentive to us as they were to other customers. We were only approached when the food we ordered had arrived and when the empty plates were being taken, which seemed to be by the manager/supervisor. Nothing in between that like the other tables. That’s the only reason for my mark down. However to the staff we did get served by we’re really polite and I’m sure this was a one off and definitely has not put me off from coming here again.

Called in for lunch and a break from driving on the M25. An fascinating place that looks like it has dropped in from a different century. We received o warm welcome to this obviously popular place. The chicken strips, haddock goujons and chips were hot and tasty and the service was excellent. A great watering hole just off the motorway but remember not to drink and drive. The coke cola is refreshing.
Made a group visit of 32 people for dinner. Pre-event planning and communication was good and everything was ready for us when we arrived. We had the upstairs room to ourselves which created the perfect atmosphere. It's a lovely venue. The service was excellent and staff were concerned that everything ran smoothly and that we enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were attentive to refill our glasses. I thoroughly recommend this venue for a group event and will use the Old Manor again.
We went there for a Family Sunday roast and turns out has been one of the best Sunday roast ever! Great selection of beers and a fantastic selection of spirits. After the lunch we moved form the restaurant area to the pub area and we enjoyed few cocktails. The service was really good, friendly and professional! we will be back soon!
We had some excellent cocktails today mixed by Ellie. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, and really seemed to be enjoying serving their customers. Would definitely go again. The scotch egg was great too!
Lovely place with good food and superb service. Ellie was very patient with our table that was rowdy and easily distracted, and we really enjoyed the hot chocolate she made (truly was banging, and I enjoyed the tiny chocolates that came on the side).
