It was really busy and we had to wait a while for our food a little while longer than we normally do. However, considering how busy it was, it was still a great night. It won't put us off going back though as we love the food in here. The staff are great and accomdating and kept it ticking over without it being stressful.

Food was excellent with good sized portions. Lots of different sauces to choose from to go with steaks and sides. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although it was quite tightly packed with tables, it didn't feel over crowded. The only thing that let it down slightly were the toilets, seat hanging off in one of the ladies, tap not working properly and hand dryers not working on either ladies or mens toilets.

Excellent meal for our wedding anniversary. We both opted for the TBone steak and chunky chips. They were Wonderful, full of flavour and cooked perfectly (medium rare). The restaurant itself is excellent and had a great atmosphere, the staff were brilliant and very friendly. Our waitress was amazing and surprised us at the end of our meals with an Anniversary celebration dish... We will definitely be returning

Totally excellent service and food. Many thanks to Kate who personally cooked my fruit crumble. I explained that I loved crumbles but, was yet to find one that wasn't wet and sticky. No problem, she smiled. I'll see to it myself. It was brilliant 👏 👌 from now on I'll ring first to make sure she's working! The manager should be proud of her, she's a real asset to his staff.

We made a reservation for 2 at the very last minute to enjoy dinner for my birthday. I'm very glad that we did go as we had a wonderful time and the food was perfect. My Dad is visiting from overseas and had never experienced m&c and he was very impressed with everything, staff, food, and atmosphere.

I went here for Valentines Day and had a very nice meal that I simply cannot fault. The food was delicious, perfect temperatures, full of flavour. The atmosphere was relaxed and romantic, perfect for Valentines Day. The service was excellent, so polite, friendly and well paced. For my dinner I had a camembert starter to share and it was absolutely sublime. The cheese was so tasty, so gooey and was just heavenly. I then had the fillet cut steak for my main with beef dripping sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare, just how I like it. It had plenty of flavour and the beef dripping was amazing. To finish I had the sticky toffee pudding which was nice as it wasn't really sickly like a lot of sticky toffee puddings tend to be. The only improvement I could possibly suggest is that where we were sat, the window next to us was a bit dirty. But something like that is so minor, and I wasn't interested in looking out the window anyway, I was more interested in looking at my beautiful girlfriend who was sat opposite me ❤. Overall it was the perfect place to dine for a romantic Valentines Day. 10/10...MUST TRY!
