My friends and I awesomely enjoyed our get-together at Potterspury Home Restaurant. Not a usual long menu, it was a fresh and fabulous menu. As you know, the most of hotels offer a long and lousy list but only a few dishes are Chef`s special other will taste average. Here we almost tried every dish, and it tastes yummy and delicious. Undoubtedly I will go again with my mom soon :)
I've booked this as soon as i knew it was going to open. It was for my wife's birthday. Loved that the restaurant staff kept us in touch with email updates, up to the day of the booking. I'll start with what I think we all come here for, the food. It is stunning! It's the extra touch that sets them apart from anything we've tried before, on the 3 menu courses we each had. In my opinion, this is a Michelin award type of restaurant. Have to mention the extensive selection of Wines, by the glass if you dont want the whole bottle. Lovely staff, great time, we can't wait to visit again!
I came with my wife to Northampton from Portugal to visit our daughter as she studies here at the university. This is our fifth time here and we always go out to new restaurants in the area. This time we found a new place online, loved the website and the menu and decided to give it a try. Went for dinner And We had the extensive tasting menu. It was a culinary treat from start to finish. The service was also first class & not over fussy and I now really believe that this restaurant is highly recommendable. The food and prices are excellent and the staff is very good. We will definitely book this place again next time we are back in the UK.
An absolutely amazing restaurant. One of the best meals out that I have had in a long, long time. We arrived very early for dinner and were instead of being asked to wait we were given comfortable seats and coffee. The chef looked after us so, so well we couldn't got better care. This is an amazing restaurant to go to to celebrate a special occasion. Do go if you are in the area or are even vaguely close. We will definitely be back for our next family birthday!
My partner and I had a great evening in early Feb 2018 at Potterspury House. Highly recommended by a good family friend, we had the 3- course menu. Fantastic attention to detail and complex flavours. Each course puts you in a fantastic mood! The only criticism is the missing list of wines from the online menu. We wrongly assumed that either the wine list is too pricey to be put online or that there must be no affordable wines on offer. We think this is such a pity because we initially were six people but our friends didn't like the idea of a dinner without drinks (understandable) so went somewhere else. That being said, Potterspury House Restaurant has an excellent and very well priced list of wines, just ask for them.
Upon arrival we were informed the Chef himself would be preparing our dinner. It was a small party, just eight of us, but the restaurant was packed full. Still, our meals arrived in time and the menu was greatly complimented by their names. The food tasted incredible and overall wasa one of the most amazing dining experience I have ever had.
A truly amazing dining experience at Pottersbury House! I simply loved the food and the quality of service. The staff was amazing - very kind and always helpful and the food has no comparison with anything we’ve tried before in the UK. Will come back, that’s for sure.
We did the chefs table.. it was wonderful to see Byron and the team at work while everything else was so calm and orderly. Serene moments that made us feel like home, when our parents used to cook for us on Sunday afternoons. So many staff with intricate jobs laying petals with precision with tweezers. Byron and the team came to talk to us, and even pose for photos. Everynbody was friendly and each staff member was well informed regarding the served dishes. The food, as you imagine, was out of this world. The whole experience was a highlight of my dining in 2018. Highly recommended, you'll be pleasantly impressed!
