I recently discovered this place with my sister and we have already gone back twice! Great breakfast and some nice salad but stay away from the chilli (only disappointing dish so far). The staff are lovely 🙂
Fresh food, creative menu and welcoming. Great outside dining space with blankets and heaters.
This is such a lovely cafe. We don’t live in Potton but find ourselves visiting the town just to pay a visit to Number One.
The cafe has a lovely ambience and is spotlessly clean. That coupled with great food, really good coffee and very friendly and professional staff who manage to blend quick service with a personal and welcoming approach, makes it a perfect spot for brunch, lunch or a slice of cake.
Plus, they’re very dog friendly too, which means that you don’t have to leave your four legged friend at home when you fancy a decent coffee.
All in all I couldn’t fault the place. A gem of a find.

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, yummy hot chocolate! Accommodating to my weekly appointments there and I enjoyed the 'Talky Table' group I started attending to meet other locals. Fingers crossed I can come back properly when this whole thing is over!
Stopped off here on my use of Greenridge walk to Sandy - excellent service . Awesome cake and the kind of Mug of tea I could only dream of 🤣 much needed after such a long walk! Don't normally leave a tip but had to for their kind and welcoming atmosphere and for the continued checking incase we wanted anything else :)

Friendly cafe, good quality medium priced food and drinks. Quick service and good atmosphere. Excellent almost Michelin star cakes by Zara. Great real ale :-)
Absolutely lovely. Very friendly and welcoming. Even with a family of 3 small children. Lovely service, excellent food. Very good restaurant. Thank you for having us. We will definitely be returning.

Had Breakfast here with my wife on my birthday. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and nicely decorated. You can see that the owners have really thought about giving the local people a place to meet and relax that is different from what is already available in the area. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to either those visiting the area or those who are residents.
They also have a nice selection of local produce in the shop and a fruit and veg stall which is open next to the premises. As of the 14th November they are also open in the evenings and I am sure this will be a popular place to visit now for Breakfast, Lunch AND Dinner!
What is nice about this place is that you can actually see the chefs preparing your food through the serving hatch area..I like this in cafes and bars as it gives a sense of pride about the kitchen area.
We both had a wonderful experience and I am sure will be back again and again. If you have not visited yet, make sure that this is one place to put on your list of local eateries in Potton to try!
As a little tip, make sure that you do NOT park in Tescos which is opposite as this is being monitored for people staying too long and not using their facilities...you can always park at the car park by the park and walk through!
Went here on 19 Sept. 2020 for breakfast. Nice atmosphere and the staff are not standing still but working very hard. I ordered a Chai Latte which was one of the best I ever had! For breakfast I ordered the Vegetarian Full English Breakst, I was very impressed especially the ''bacon''. There is only a few details I like to say: I got 2 brown toast and one of them was the hard end of the bread. At home I do not mind but when I am going out for food I do like a nice piece of bread. Also the butter was too warm which was melting too fast, on my second toast I could not put the butter on my toast anymore, it was all oil. But all other things were perfect. I would defenitely love to come back.
