Not long got home to have a cheeky brunch.. and I cooked a duck breast from these guys. We have duck a lot in our family due to Asian roots, and this was by far the best I've ever eaten. Can't wait to come back �

This is a high end butcher at reasonable prices. The service is excellent, and the staff are very helpful. But the most important thing is the meat. The quality and range of cuts (they have rarer ones) is exceptional, and I'd grade the actual butchery as top notch. I have experienced a great deal of "door stopper steaks" when asking for the thicker 1inch+ cuts with other butchers - but Waghorne's always provides. One thing to note - whilst the website is great, do give them a call or pop in if you're looking for something not advertised or a weight that they don't sell on the site. They will be happy to help.

A high quality local shop offering a wide range of excellent produce. Fabulous home made sausages in a variety of flavours; superb fresh and cooked meat products; freshly baked locally sourced bread and pies together with all the advice you could need on any cut of meat for any occasion. Friendly, welcoming, good old-fashioned standards of service!

A lovely traditional butchers shop and delicatessen. I have been buying my sausages, bacon and eggs here for years and highly recommend them. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and I feel able to ask questions on anything from quantities, cuts or cooking advice. They always cube my casserole meat for me too which is great cos I hate doing that bit!

The service and quality of this butchers have literally won my business for life. Why would I ever eat supermarket meat again now I have tasted meat from waghornes? We came first during lockdown when they kept us happy safe and well fed but we are never leaving! Also very well priced btw.

I regularly buy steak here, it is simply fabulous, the best you can buy in Cheltenham. I have also bought sausages and meat patties and they were superb. Well worth the money, the quality is outstanding

Steaks are amazing and so is the ribs on rib eyes. We ordered the ribs for Christmas and asked for a Christmas eve pick up and that wasn't a problem. Really great bunch of staff there to help you in selecting the best meat for your needs.
