Called on the off chance for evening meal, the staff were so welcoming and accommodated us. Food both from the specials and the main menu was superb and a cut above your typical pub fare. The guest cask ales were top notch justifying this pub in the Good Beer Guide. So glad we called in 🙏🏽 …
Great range of beers at the bar, lovely spacious beer garden with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, delicious home made food at reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff, nice big car park. Highly recommended.
Excellent steak and ale pie in dish, generous on the filling, lovely gravy. great pub vibe, very welcoming to all. Also tasty deserts!

Well worth a visit. Lovely country pub with exceptional dining. 6-course tasting menu with matching wines every 6 weeks (7th-8th August 2025 then end Sept date TBC. Music festival 25th July weekend too!!
