Excellent bar for live music. We went on a Thursday which had 3 very diverse bands/musicians. Very goodnight made even better by the staff members, super friendly and honest.

Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful staff and a really great night. Strong selection of beers and spirits. It's a top venue for live music with great acoustics. I'm definitely planning on returning.

Excellent night out at the Ferret watching and listening to We are Scientists. Not seen them for a long time but still as great as ever. Great atmosphere in this small venue, long may live music continue 🙏

Absolutely cannot fault this place. It's such a small venue but honestly, with the crowds that show up, it makes it 10x better. Of course, great venues attract great bands, and they really are brilliant! Lovely selection of ciders, spirits, and beers (if that's your thing!). All the bar staff give off great vibes. Would give more than 5* if I could!

I first attended the ferret 9-10 years ago and it had a very real and grungy charm, it just felt real and had soul.
Yesterday I revisited it and honestly that charm still remains and grew more bits over the years.
Great new stage area as I was used to the outdoor one and the staff are full of great character.
I also loved how there was women's sanitary towels for free in the girls toilets, made me really smile as its very thoughtful.
Honestly if you fancy a drink with some character, come here.
