I’ve got to agree, 5* isn’t enough! My favourite place to stop after a walk for a coffee and slice of cake, or for a lovely lunch out. Plenty of veggie options, wonderful staff and a great atmosphere.
Their whole cakes really don’t get the recognition they deserve!! I’ve ordered a couple of them now, most recently a carrot cake for my partners birthday. Everyone commented that it was the best carrot cake they’ve ever had, and I’ve got to agree. Delicious and really reasonably priced, I will always get while cakes from here :D xx

5* is not enough!!!
We had afternoon tea here today and it was amazing 🤩 the food was delicious, the staff so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I have an egg intolerance and yesterday I had several text about the difference foods I could and couldn't eat. This for me takes customer service to the next level 🤩
I don't know how they do it for the price as very reasonable for a very high standard of food in a lovely setting.
We will definitely return as the food they were serving other customers also looked so good.
Oh and the cake WOW!!! Was so good had to bring some home for the family 😄

Excellent garden cafe. The staff are very friendly and the scones taste fantastic. Can’t go wrong with such a nice setting. Even saw a rabbit hopping amongst the lovely borders of flowers 🐰

Sat outside with a wonderful view over the garden. I shared the sausage and cheese hot sandwich with my husband to save room for cake. Good size portion and very tasty. We had lemon and blueberry scone with lemon curd and clotted cream after which was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic lunch out.

Really lovely little place on the edge of Ribchester. Welcoming and friendly staff who were very attentive. We were served very quickly with food that was fresh and delicious.
Had the sausage and Lancashire cheese ciabatta and banofee pie. I was not disappointed with either of them and would definitely recommend them.
Great cup of coffee too.
It's only about a 10 minute walk down to the River Ribble so it would be a brilliant place to get some takeaway food to take down and eat on the riverbank.
It's not always easy to find somewhere to eat with a baby and a toddler so thank you to all the staff who made us feel welcome.

Always Cake is MUCH more than cake and sweets - it is utterly amazing and incredibly DELICIOUS food, savory and sweet. Not only is the food divine (and affordable), but the cafe itself and the ambience is perfection.. A meaningful and lovely place to gather and make beautiful new memories!!

Very pleasant, nice choice of tasty dishes and delicious cake. Came back for breakfast the following day and taking some scones home too. Lovely staff, very helpful.
