Well it's MacDonalds, never gonna get a 5 stars but this is one of the bettter Mc Donalds but just refurbished, staff are lovely, food is as expected. As for the atmosphere, it's decor is cheap and tacky, and seats are uncomfortable, music is too loud, and lights are way too bright. Toilets need to be reopened at night as sharing a disabled toilets with drunks with urine all over is not nice. Open the Mens and ladies toilets and keep the disabled toilets for the disabled.
Victoria is an outstanding hostess. This is the cleanest McDonalds I've dined in, in 20 years. She was extremely kind and helpful. She deserves promotion.

Recently took my 2 granddaughters to eat in. It was a Saturday lunchtime. Every table was occupied. I used the screen to order and pay. There were plenty of staff on duty. They seemed very organised and had specific roles. The cleaner was observant, clearing tables as soon as they became available. Our food was to a good standard and our order, correct. Staff were pleasant and keep to help customers they were serving. I was comparing this McDonald's to the Leyland one and to be honest there was not much comparison. Capitol Centre in my opinion, is much better. It was worthwhile traveling the extra couple of miles!
