Ice cream is the best thing you could ever have to indulge your mouth and body in a hot day; actually I also eat it in the winter, but I am greedy guy anyway! This place serves fresh homemade and natural ingredients in most of their flavours.
Flavours:
You get a variety of flavours here from the basic vanilla to Ferrero Rocher, to their fresh wild berries, coconut, lotus, Oreo, cheesecake, mango, pistachio, chocolate, and many more! This variety always confuses me and I end up ordering 3 scoops every time Best ice-cream you will ever have. IMPORTANT to mention that their ice-cream has less sugar (dunno how much less) than their rivals which makes you genuinely tastes and enjoys the flavours even more - makes me feel less guilty about my sugar intakeπ. You can have your ice cream in a cone or a paper cup. I always go for the cone. Look at the photos, can you see the bits of the berries??? πππππ
Price:
I get a 3-scoop ice cream in a cone for Β£4.5 which is very reasonable and in fact it is even cheaper than many other places that even serve lower quality.
Service:
Very clean and the staff are soooo friendly and generous when serving your ice cream- generosity in food is important to me!!!ππ
Area for improvement:
Just a suggestion for perfection - make your own cones at the shop. Let us smell the lovely waffle being baked!!! There is a shop in Egypt that makes their waffle cones in house and I always go there to buy their ice cream only because of the smell of the fresh waffle cones.
Just moved to Preston and thought I'd treat myself to dessert. A friend of mine recommended House of Gelato, Preston. I had the strawberries and cream and blue vanilla ice cream, I've never had ice cream with such amazing flavour! Also opted to have the carrot cheese cake which is the best I've had. And the great thing was the owner let me split the scoop, and have half of each flavour, which was exceptional service I think (see photo).

New go to place, delicious gelato and great customer service. The gelatos come in a range of flavours and they cater for vegans alos, the wild Berry vegan is to die for. The cheesecakes are also π
Sachertorte and lemon sorbet, an amazing experience and combination of flavours, topped with great service as always! Can't wait to visit again and can't recommend highly enough to Gelato lovers.

Great ice cream and sorbets. Lots of different flavours, so many standard so many specials. Lots of choice for cones. Tubs to take home available. Vegan ice cream also available. Good portion size and great value.
Well worth a visit. Plenty of choice did not know which to have. You can sit inside and have ice-cream sundaes, loads to choose from
I just love this place! I visited with some of my family for the first time today and I can't believe I've not been in earlier. The Gelato is delicious, the waffles are fresh and tasty. The service is lovely, the atmosphere and design of the place is comfortable yet well presented, it is very clean, I will be going back and I recommend this place to anyone (they even had a vegan option for those who might be) but personally I really enjoy the lotus biscoff and banana !
Delicious creamy gelato and other desserts. The Owner is Danish and really knows his stuff! If you're looking for genuine high quality unprocessed dairy? This is the place.

Had an Oreo waffle with mint choc chip ice cream, delicious. The waffle was delightfully crisp on the outside yet soft on the inside.
The staff were amazingly helpful and accomodating, offering glasses of water to help cleanse the palatte.

As a connoisseur of fine desserts, where I have often travelled the distance to complete my palate, I was surprised to learn that my home town of preston was host to this amazing establishment that caters the most premium ice cream I have come to taste. I am definitely not exaggerating this review, House of Gelato is an absolute gem and I frequent this place whenever I get the opportunity. The stuff here is quite simply unique, something I have never even experienced in premium 5 star hotels and michelin starred restaurants; now that is saying something!. People far and wide need to experience this place. Just go, go.
