Good real ales, friendly staff, nice garden, convenient for both have parks, well priced food good portion size. recommend.
We stayed for one night with our dog in a great room with a massive bed. Had evening meal and breakfast and must say the food was excellent. I didn't want eggs with my gammon and they were happy to change to peas for me and breakfast cooked exactly as asked. Will definitely stay here again as one of the better dog friendly places we have been.
Hi, Had a family meal for 7 adults and 3 children. Excellent food and service. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Best pint of Guinness I've had for a while. Great play area and garden for after your meal. Definitely coming back. Would highly recommend.
Been in here 3 times whilst staying here on holiday and the food and staff have been extremely excellent.
Been coming to Weymouth over the last 6 years and its the 1st time we have been to the Spice ship and we should have come here from the beginning of our trips to Weymouth.
Can recommend as a must if you visit Weymouth as Steaks are top class
Went for a quick meal with my husband and we were not disappointed!! The garlic mushrooms starter is amazing and both our steaks were cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely welcoming and attentive but not over the top. Which I find so much nicer than being kept onto!! We are changing where we eat our steaks!! A big THANK YOU to the manager and the staff for a lovely eating experience
Been here a few times, the food never fails to hit the spot! Today we had steak an ale pie, and the garlic and Stilton burger both went down a treat 😋 Had deserts crumble and sticky toffee pudding. The sticky toffee pudding was out of this world, best I have ever tasted!! The young man who waited on us was excellent, gave recommendations, told us what specials were available. An told us that the puddings were home made, Definitely a valuable member to the rest of the fabulous team at the spice ship! Walked in as table of 6 adults and child without booking and given choice of tables. Food was exceptional, with portion sizes excellent value for money. Good variety of choices on the menu and appropriate choices for children. Service was quick and efficient with all food served together and well cooked. We ate outside and the food stayed hot right till the end. Friendly atmosphere too. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in the area.
Was a bit unsure if to go in last time we were in Weymouth the food and service were disgusting saw outside it was under new Management what can I say the food was absolutely delicious 4 of us had 3 courses every single one perfect, service was brilliant all the food coming out just at the right time between courses piping hot and freshly cooked nothing was too much trouble. The staff were all friendly and helpful without making us feel we had to hurry our meal will certainly be back next time we are in the area. If your staying at one of the Haven camps treat yourself prices are similar to the restaurant on camp but 100% better food and service lovely quirky pub well done to the new owners you have made a brilliant business well worth full stars and more
Great pub. Great service from the second we walked in. Lager and gin at reasonable prices (pint of Heineken under £6 means I don't have to steal the glass 🤷🏻♂️). Food ordered was very good and delicious. Would highly recommend this pub.
