A really enjoyable experience, awesome food beautifully presented and very moreish. The portion size looks deceiving and they are much bigger than that which you’ll expect. Mr Lam has the added bonus of serving only halal meat and no pork products on the menu or in the premises (although alcohol is served). Make sure you come on an empty stomach and be prepared to leave completely full. The combo platter was divine. The lamb chops, salt and pepper wings, prawn toast all cooked to perfection.
The price is reasonable given the quality of the food. They operate a pay as you eat policy and so don’t be offended if you’re asked to pay shortly after placing your order.
Thoroughly enjoyed it at here and it’s definitely worth a visit.
Excellent meal and impeccable service for 9. Every dish was absolutely delicious and each served with the biggest smile. From walking through the entrance you instantly feel welcomed and the service and attention is maintained until you leave the building.
The staff cannot do any more to accomodate your needs and dietary requirements. Mine being particularly challenging due to health ailments, though Lilly (in particular) and her team did their utmost to create a delicious meal and not draw any exta attention to myself. Lovely restaurant giving young people an opportunity of employment after such a tough year. Really tasty food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Really disappointed with some customers attitude towards the staff sometimes, don't forget we all started somewhere and a little patience wouldn't go a miss!
Took my 82 yr old dad for a belated birthday dinner (BTW.... he doesn't look or act past 65) (1/10/22) .. anyway.... we were given a table in a quiet corner, away from several raucous large party tables already buzzing with noisy chatter (which we appreciated) .. the service, food and staff were all 5*... the overall experience was amazing... expensive but thoroughly recommended .....will definitely go again.
We was in town for a few weeks and luckily found this place early on. We have been a couple times since and have found both the food and service to be fantastic. They were even able to throw me together an off the menu dish and when we come back next year I’ll definitely be back.

Brilliant restaurant,the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and happy,my husband and I had the sharer starter for two,followed by prawn curry with fried rice,it was all cooked to perfection,we will definitely go back again.
Ordered seven meals for 6.30pm collection. Order was ready on time and the food was piping hot 10 mins later when I arrived home. Lily and the team threw in a lovely cup cake as it was my daughters birthday - superb gesture. Will be back again very soon.
Excellent authentic food with lovely ambience you really feel like your in the city and open kitchen is lovely. Lily was amazing
Food and service as always very good, still a bit on the expensive side but it's the only Chinese restaurant I know of in the centre. Not really impressed with pay as you go, bit of a nuisance keep getting cards out whilst eating, but there probably is a good reason for it. Will definitely go back.
Brilliant food. Great quality. Buffet boxes are a great option for takeaway. Be good to see the larger buffet option available when eating in. Always really enjoy it.
