Damascus

Ended up at Damascus by accident as was going out for pizza initially. Absolutely amazing food, excellent service by Mohammed who brought out a starter and bread for free. We also chatted about Turkey and where best to go. Very friendly and informative. Didn’t get a photo unfortunately, we had ordered two starters which were huge in portion size, chicken livers and lamb burek. Had to take half home. Now the main I did get a photo of and again portion sizes very generous, we also took half home. We will definitively be back and I will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you very much 🙂

Chicken mandi is absolutely delicious here at Damascus Mohammed working here is the person u have to reach once u reach Damascus, He is polite, greet you with happiness, treat u very well, explain every dish and make it easier for us to order. He is absolutely hardworking and kind hearted. He is gem for damascus.

We were served by a man called Mohammed, he was amazing literally so so kind, he gave us free starters then we had our meal later he gave us Arabic tea for free too… their food was absolutely delicious, mouth watering… with very high class service, we came from Blackburn especially to come here, today was my third time going there and will definitely be going again soon in sha Allah 😊

First time at Damascus restaurant eating Syrian food. What a lovely experience. We were made comfortable by all. Muhammad looked after us explaining the food and was very helpful. Taste of all the food was exquisite, will definitely go again. The mix grill is a must with the homemade sauces. Thank you

Definitely recommend this place!! Super delicious arabic food and budget friendly. The staff are amazing and best service. Place is clean and customer friendly and spacious for Dine in. Try the Mixed Starter -5/5 Came with Naan Bread. Full Chicken Mandi -5/5 Comes With Full chicken and Pilav Rice and salad. Mixed Grill For one - 5/5 (will be served with chips or rice) Overall its a great place if you’re looking for something different in Arabic Food.

Have to say the food here was amazingly delicious, we had the platter for two with a portion of lamb chops, and the chips have to be the best I've had in a while not dipped in loads of marinade or sauce like other places. The kebabs were out watering, amazing taste and also the rice and sauces. No disappointment here. Seating was very good and the staff were very polite. Thank you, will definitely recommend to eat here.
