Popped in whilst working in the area, ordered the Lite Bite fish, chips and curry sauce, £4.50, great value and the food was delicious, chips are some of the nicest I've had in a long while, the fish was a good size and spicy curry sauce complimented it well.
Only had to wait a short while for the fish, gentleman who served was pleasant so all in all a good experience fora first visit, local residents are very lucky to have a great, traditional chippy in the area, I'll definitely be back.

Fish and chip shop's are a UK tradition and this place really holds true to those traditional values associated with a well run shop. It's a staple, the best fish and chip's around and a Walton le-dale icon in our view. We see the interaction they have on Facebook with their customers with a view to always improve and applaud them in every aspect. Check the opening times and make sure you order in advance if you are busy because there's a reason this place often has queues running out the door.
