Food is fine, fish pretty good, chips not so great and had them a few times, not bad but not the best.
Prices high end and efficient enough service but not very welcoming if that's what you like, me not fussed just want great fish and chips

Great chippie, fish supper is my favourite choice and the misses loved her pizza. The chips are normally hot and fresh. I was glad to hear that a Bennys was openning up in Dalkeith where we live but this one is still the best.

Just had the best scampi supper I have ever eaten. It came with salad and tarter sauce as well. It was worth the £10.50 I paid for it. My son got a special fish supper he asked for it to be done extra crispy and it was perfect the size of the fish was bigger than expected. The time it took to come was a lot quicker than expected. The food was hot as well. I highly recommend this chippy to come to if you are wanting the perfect chippy dinner well done to all the staff.

Pasta was £6.50 each or two for £14 with a 'free' garlic bread, so we got the £14 deal so we could have the £1 garlic bread. 🤣
It was really nice, my eldest who is very fussy ate all his bolognese tagliatelle, I had the carbonate tagliatelle. The garlic bread was delicious. Others had the Turkish delight and southern fried chicken burger. Everyone enjoyed everything. Would highly recommend, and will definitely go back if we're up this way again.

If you enjoy fish and chips, or something else fast food related, Bene's is a good place to visit. We ordered fish and chips, as well as battered sausage, breaded prawns and calamari. All the food was tasty and prices were reasonable. Definitely worth a try.

Hidden gem just off the main road. Parking is easy even with a motorhome as its next to the harbour car park. We had a fish and chips, it was freshly made from fresh fish. Wide range of food is on offer. Staff was friendly and helpful, it definitely worth the detour for anyone who is traveling south on the A1 👍🏼
