11/10. Food was amazing - service was amazing. They even replaced one of the pizzas for us with no extra charge as when the first one came our baby was unsettled so by the time we came to eat it had gone cold. Such a nice touch. Will definitely be returning.

Fabulous evening with family at Dokes. Lovely atmosphere and nice service..very attentive and warm. Fabulous pizzas! Great dough and toppings, top quality meats and cheeses. Also had garlic bread starters which was again lovely and the most sublime whipped burratta. Best I've had. Highly recommend this place.

Really fantastic food. I think we may have visited on the first day of a new menu and I don’t know what the old menu was like, but the new one didn’t disappoint! I think for the quality of the food the prices are fair, probably in line with similar places in the city centre which is fine by me.
Lovely atmosphere, nice and chilled out, really lovely interior, and friendly service. The whipped burrata with hazelnut dukkah and honey was insane, and the pizzas we got were both excellent. Really well-balanced flavours all round.
My one complaint was that the markup on beer in particular seemed incredibly high. Draught was pretty standard pricing for Manchester, again in line with the city centre, but cans seemed incredibly expensive.
I’d 100% come again, because the food was fantastic and I’d like to try more of the menu. I’d just probably not get a beer next time!

Insanely good pizza. We have eaten in, but mostly just order takeout, and while we’ve tried a few we are loyal to the Beowulf. The pizza is five star faultless. Nothing else to say. Try it and tell me I’m wrong!
Couple of criticisms: potentially weird opening times - sometimes they’re not open (or not taking orders) when you really want Pizza, and Fri/Sat is often hard to get an order because they’re so popular (they have to temporarily close down online orders).

Bottomless brunch on a Saturday - service by mark, keeping the beers flowing exceptional service, attentive felt really looked after! only to be served by what I can describe as the best pizza in the world served by chef Joe (Beofwulf Pizza) - great service, atmosphere, staff and price. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed my visit here. It's fairly pricey, but (as you can see from the photos) the portions are pretty generous and the good is delicious. I had the ham/pineapple pizza, with the caramelised pineapple being a particular highlight. The truffle fries were also tasty. Worth a visit, a lovely addition to Prestwich.

I want to start by saying that the food is lovely and one of the waiters (potentially manager/owner) was lovely. This was the second time we’d eaten at Dokes, the first just after they had opened. The first time we felt really rushed and they practically threw pizza at us but we put this down to being the first few weeks and needed tables etc.
we dined this evening and the service was the same. The restaurant was empty bar 3 tables and we were halfway through our starter when the pizza came and was just thrown down in front of us. We eat out often but were looking forward to this and sharing a bottle of wine. It was a shame that it was rushed. We were in/out in 30 mins and they lost potential money as we would have had dessert/coffee/more drinks.
Shame as the food is lovely but we probably won’t go back in a rush

Was fairly quiet when myself and my wife attended service was excellent as it has always been on previous visits. I had the calzone which was exceptional. My wife had a vegan margarita which she thoroughly enjoyed. This wasn’t our first visit and it certainly won’t be our last.
