Very enjoyable visit on probably the hottest day of the year so far. Cold beer and wine on the terrace along with tempura chicken and sweet fries. The staff were friendly and efficient. The prices are maybe on the high side but you pay for the ambience. Nice mezzanine area.

Popped in for a coffee and a snack with the dog. Great find. The staff are great, really friendly and so good with my four legged boy. Lovely coffee and food. Will definitely be back.

Visited with family for a meal and drinks. I love this place as the food is always great, staff are lovely and drinks are fabulous. We sat outside in the sunshine and everything was great. Have been going here for years and love the fact you can have a conversation and it's dog friendly too. Meals are well priced, big portions and drinks are little more expensive but we'll made.

Lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon enjoying a couple of beers in the sun. Service could have been better. Bar staff had to ask other members of staff how to make drinks, not good. Quite pricey but overall a nice afternoon.

Lovely staff.. Food was delicious, although we only had nachos to share and drinks. It was our 2nd visit whilst house hunting. Will be returning. Dog friendly too which is a bonus.

We visited on an impromptu visit to Prestwick (3 adults, 2 children and a dog). Both the service provided (throughout our time at the bar/restaurant) and the food was also very nice (freshly made). When visiting I would definitely return.

Went for lunch today 2nd Dec along with our cocker spaniel Stanley. We had a lovely lunch and we ordered a cooked sausage for Stanley. Lunch was delicious and Stanley's sausage came all chopped up. He was also treated to a bowl of water and a small dog treat. We were served by 2 young men who were very welcoming and treated us so well. Thankyou very much

Stopped for lunch. Had some tempura prawns which were nice and some chilli fries which tasty but not spicy. There were a couple of decent beers on tap. Service was very good.

Amazing burgers!! And the service is outstanding, I recommend this restaurant highly, and they allow dogs, which is cool.
Lunch 27th December 2011. Where to start. Two waitresses for a cafe full of folk spells disaster and these two were a disaster. Served a white whine in such a large glass it looked like a wee puddle in the bottom. Meal very average. Portion of chips small. Asked for coffees with meal, they didnt arrive. When I dfinished my meal I told one of the waitresses and then waited for the coffees. No coffees so i asked again and she said I had cancelled them. DOH! Why was I still sitting like a dummy waiting for them. And shew wasnt very polite or bothered. I used to go to this place a lot but last time was also a disaster but I thought maybe its a one off. Not so. Disaster again. Wont be back, give this place a big miss. Loads of great places to eat in Ayr so dont wasre your money here

Went to caprice in ayr on sat 24th sept for lunch with my girlfriend for lunch I ordered the scallops with bacon, black pudding and a cheese glaze, when it eventualy arrived there was no black pudding the bacon was burnt and what was meant to be a glaze was a thick cheesey sauce and the scallops were like rubber. I sent it back as soon as it was sat in front of me which the waitress didn't seen to understand after havning to pay before I left the so called restaurant the manager was also pretty off as they took my money . Would definatly give this place a big miss . Try the treehouse round the corner much better food, service and prices

New menu not good waitresses not very glorious or cheerful came here for a change as we usually go to meridian won't be back menu changed for the worst no desserts only pastries table was a mess when we came in and no one cleaned it plus the service isn't the same as the other restaurants
