My wife became ill on our return flight. The airport staff could not have been more helpful. All staff in departures and at information desk provided us with assistance. They got a wheelchair for my wife and called a taxi for us. We will be forever grateful. I must also mention the taxi driver who was a great help.

I travelled from and to Prestwick airport to from Marseille and I must say I was pleasantly surprised.
The airport is small and make the experience so much more pleasant with reduce stress
The security was fast . There was plenty seating waiting for our flight to be called . Announcement were clear. Although the choice of food is limited we manage to get breakfast at the WHSmith .
The train station is close by.
The only issue is the lack of public transport early in the morning meaning an expensive taxi ride but the flights from Prestwick were so much cheaper than from Edinburgh . Would happily use this airport again

It's a lovely airport ..everyone that works there bends over backwards to help u ...its so welcoming expecially security who went out there way to make us a warm cuppa when we needed to stay over night in the terminal when we were waiting on our flight ..what a wonderful start to our holiday

Quiet airport so got through security etc. In minutes. Food and drink available after that and the area for waiting is comfortable enough. Still get ripped off for parking/ drop off/ pick up, but at the moment it is £3.50 for an hour so cheaper than most other airports.

I travelled last week for the first time using PIK. I can honestly say,l that the experience was amazing. The airport parking was literally next to the terminal and a 1 minute walk. The airport is small and everything is quick. Airport staff members (information area staff, check in staff, security and assistance) were friendly and good at their roles. The airport was clean and not busy. There was somewhere to eat and a WHSmith. Overall, J spent less than I usually would. Baggage was ready when we disembarked the aircraft. It was very scenic when landing and the runway is so long. This is not used enough. It has a lot of potential. Staff members are employed by the airport itself, this makes a difference as they seem to care how they come across. I would absolutely use this airport again. It is just a bit of a waste as could be used by more airlines.

Super quick check-in, security checks, immigration while returning. Good small and clean airport. Good connectivity by public transport and also long term parking on airport was hassle free

Fantastic Airport. Really easy to get to by train or M77. Pick up / drop off is only £3.50 for an hour. Long term is a bit steep at just under £90 for 9 days, but all things considered its one of the best Airports in Scotland.

Relatively small and quick operating airport.
To get there you could use train,bus or drive by car.
No ques, fast check in.
Friendly people all around you.
The only down side is - past passport control there is not a possibility to have a hot food, only cold sandwiches and refreshments.

Usually only ryanair who fly from here passenger flights. Mostly used for commercial flights like cargo lux air france and for military refuelling. Can watch flights come in and take off from several points around the airport. Sea rescue also is stationed here private not military any more.
