A lovely local pub and restaurant. It’s old, traditional and a little tired, yet still a favourite. The food is delicious and the people are always friendly. This isn’t a fancy place with overpriced dishes – it’s somewhere you feel at home, enjoy a good traditional meal, a pint, and a chat with the locals.
Whilst working in the area, my colleagues and I stayed at the Red Lion.
