Has gained more champions & won more championships than any club in the UK. Has been known as The Home of Champions since 2006. Speaks volumes for the club & the course. UPDATE: In October 2022, work started on the new Trackman swing studio - a major investment for members & visitors alike. Yet another step in the club's continuing development programme. In Dec 22 the new Tyne Valley Golf Lounge opened & has been very popular ever since with members & visitors. The best in the region - probably! UPDATE: From 1 September 2023, 7 months membership available for only £319 & 19 months for £899. P. S. The reviews by Jacquie Wallace & Stuart Kitching seem interesting!

As always in lovely condition, nice clubhouse, good food no complaints at all, pity it has a road running through as there is a little road noise but not the worst.

Enjoyed 9 holes this evening, this is a well maintained, lush course set among some great views around the Woodlands. Great, greens which are very receptive and run true. It was a little wet in areas but given all the rain it was good overall. A wall from the 8th to the 9th needs a little luv. Otherwise a lovely course.

Played there today, 4 May 2023 in a seniors 4 man texas scramble. We had 4 groups playing, 16 players in all. Excellent, we all really enjoyed it, tricky in places, fast greens well maintained. Club staff very friendly, good beer and food reasonably priced. Committee well organised, cannot fault the place, will be going back again.

Love this course, not a big slog or too hilly but enough to get your heart pumping, thought the back 9 was gunna be a killer stuck behind 3 groups of 4 older gentlemen but all of them let me through group by group and had my best 3 holes with my small audience 😂😂😂

Nice golf course. The length of holes on the par 4's is varied with some relatively short holes and some that are more demanding. Crossing the road between two parts of the course at the time we went was a bit busier than expected. Lots of car parking. Didn't go back inside the club house.
