What a wonderful place. Beautiful atmosphere and such friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food prepared from scratch including a fabulous tasty vegan meal. We will definitely return regularly 😊👍.

Terrific service! Even when one of the food items wasn't 100% right, they bent over backward to put things right and kept checking back to make sure we were happy. Our host was warm and friendly, so a huge thank you to him.

A great country pub, frequented by locals. Had a great atmosphere. This is a real English pub and so different from the London pubs marketed as English pubs

Nice food, fitted 6 in straight away. Friendly staff. Service was a little slow but it was a Monday evening.

First time visiting
Called in on a late warm and sunny Monday afternoon when recommended as a place to enjoy a cold Guinness and we thank Jack for the recommendation.
Young lady behind the bar was very polite, efficent and friendly

Outside there's a
decent size garden with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy the weather
Although we didn't have time to sample the food the menu looked reasonably priced with plenty of choices
They also have a specials board.
We are both looking forward to a return visit to enjoy the cold Guinness and to sample some of the food.

Lovely lunch! Good menu selection considering we visited on a Sunday. Food arrived piping hot and in a timely manner. Well stocked bar with a good selection of drinks. Attentive and friendly staff. Would definitely return.
