Really good fish and chips and cooked perfectly. Always have when in Purley.

Amazing people, the staff (husband and believe wife) were very humble and helpful. The food, honestly was so good (Batter and freshness) easily the best fish and chips I’ve had in years and needless to say best in the area. Call in advance as items are freshly prepared and fried. Great selection of menu, next up the battered prawns! You can see why this establishment has held stead fast for decades.
*Portion size of chips was allot larger than in picture. Some were eaten en route home :)

I have always used Superfryer as my go to fish and chip shop. Staff are always friendly with welcoming smiles. I usually ring them and then collect the order. There is no eat in or delivery.
I have always found the food great. I order haddock, which is my favourite fish, but down south is always cooked to order, so it is always fresh.
A personal recommendation from me!

Best fish & chips I've had in years!
We were looking for a quick dinner before grabbing our train and decided to go here. As owner has previously stated, everything is 100% cooked to order, and it's worth it. Great chips, chicken and beautiful crispy batter on the fish.
I last went here about 30+ years ago when I lived in the area as a kid. I think, and hope, it's the same friendly family who own it.

I'm a connoisseur of fish and chips.
Had the cod and chips with curry sauce and the 3 piece southern fried chicken and chips and it's a whole different experience that sets themselves apart from your usual fish and chip shop.
The folks running it should be proud they put a lot of love into something simple and get the taste, crispiness and portions perfect.

2 minutes from the railway station by foot. This chip shop has been there for 90 years. The chips are very good and cooked really well.
Prices are good and the owners are friendly people.
They have a good selection of fried fish also.

Lovely little place with really nice staff. Good array of different foods including vegetarian options. Famous In Purley for it's great food and staff but also a few celebrity visits. Best battered mushrooms I have had.
