Sam's Caribbean Kitchen

Finally... a Caribbean Food shop with food packed with flavour as opposed to scotch bonnet. You could safely feed your children! The Curry Goat was tender plus succulent and although I do not like pepper I opted for Jerk Lamb - who could resist, it was nicely jerked that I had to return for a second portion. The owner was friendly and welcoming. I have booked Sam's Caribbean Kitchen to provide the catering for my mother's birthday party in a few weeks and I cannot wait for my family and friends to taste her tantalising cuisine. I thought parking would be an issue but with surrounding roads offering free parking and being a stones throw away from the McDonalds site, it was convenient enough for me to grab a few items from Poundland, head to the Restaurant then grab my children's McDonalds before heading home. Brilliant!!

Any one can cook if they get the right teaching about the correct ingredients and the correct method of preparing for example dos food need to be marinated Sam knows these things and over many years watching and picking up hits and tips from family ,friends and her community at large. I feel now Samantha is up to point and as achieved the proper way of how Caribbean food should be. A enjoyable mouth watering experience that leaves You feeling full enough for that nice glass of punch or a slice of cake and custard.Bless up Samantha keep up the hard work don't let any one tell you you can't cook😎😆.

This shop is local to me, I was passing by the other day and the owner was outside the shop she greeted me we then started talking, I told her I had tried the food from the previous owners and was disappointed, the owner assured me that cooking was her passion and I Should not be out of by my previous experience, so I tried the jerk Chicken with rice n peas and some Salad, it was amazing, absolutely delicious, had it not been for her friendly approach and nature I may never have tried the food again . I can’t wait to try her varied cuisines in the near future and would certainly recommend this food shop 😁👍🏽
