First visit to this place, the staff really friendly and being on a restricted diet the food was delicious so when visiting friends again, I know the place to go for a good lunch

Great little place. The staff were very friendly and the food and drink was delicious. It was great to have the option of soya milk and gluten free treats thank you, I will most def be back!

Wonderful cafe on the outskirts of Chilcompton (tucked away in a small farm estate) this cafe was a brilliant find. Excellent service from the staff, very friendly and welcoming. We stopped for brunch and had their home made toasties and coffee, it was all delicious. They served complimentary iced water with every order which was a great touch especially on a sunny day. Seating available indoors and out, located in a pretty farm with views of the church. Free parking at the front of the building. Ideal location for all of the family.

Lovely atmosphere, really helpful friendly staff. Breakfast was freshly cooked, lots on the plate. Kept me going all day! Going back for tea and cake some time the cake looked fantastic!

Now our regular, week after week, this place ticks all the boxes. Great menu, both breakfast and lunch. Having been to so many cafes and been disappointed over the years, it’s refreshing to leave HC happy and ‘full-filled’ every time. All the staff are super friendly and accommodating to dietary requirements. We especially want to thank Debbie who continues to go above and beyond, making us feel welcome as you would a friend, and never phased by what some would find to be awkward requests. Sitting outside by the church and farm animals view in the summer/autumn was a delight. We have a favourite table indoors for the winter now, it has a lovely view of the cows in the fields. It really is the perfect spot for all seasons. Looking forward to bringing family and friends to the new local soon, so they can see what all the fuss is about. There is something for everyone on food and drinks menu, really delicious and don’t get me started on the incredible cakes! Big thanks to you all, we’ll see you for brunch very soon (probably tomorrow)! Natasha & Rachel <3

Excellent as always. First time upstairs today, glad to see the wrought iron chairs are there. It's been very well done. I kinda miss the kitchen on the first floor but very glad to see it's going so well. A few pictures to actually show what the place is like rather than plates of food

A lovely little cafe located down some country lanes. Great menu with lots of options. Stopped here for breakfast and had the smoked salmon with poached eggs and it was perfection! Fast and friendly service and good coffee too. It's not a huge place - so booking a table at mealtimes is worth doing.

I popped in on Tuesday with my 2 year old son as he’s obsessed with cows and the name made it an easy choice! As a chef with 20 years experience working in restaurants upto and including Michelin level I’m rarely impressed BUT the quality of ingredients the friendly atmosphere and the general experience made its appeal a wash with charm. The cost of the offering isn’t cheap but very reasonable for what you get I enjoyed a full English with the added hash brown (a must) while my son tucked into salmon and extremely well made scrambled eggs, So good was it I returned the following day for lunch as I happened to be passing within 5 minutes and once again really enjoyed the coffee the quiche and the atmosphere, Expect to see a lot of me and my son you have for every reason become an instant hit!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. In a stunning location, right next to the church (hence the name I suppose!) with an excellent array of brunch choices - I'd recommend the breakfast burger. All the staff were friendly and polite, all exceeding expectations.
