Stayed at the George inn last weekend for a night as we were diving nearby. The host was really ncie and friendly and offered us a choice of rooms on arrival. He also suggested a local place to eat and made some drinks recommendations of the local cider (which was delicious). We thought we'd left a set of keys and when I called he went and looked for them (they turned out to be in a bag we had with us) but the host was super helpful and really nice. The room itself was lovely. It had everything you'd need for a short stay. The bed was comfy, good shower, nice clean room and the road was pretty quiet. We had a great night's sleep there and then we're able to help ourselves to the breakfast provided which was fab - no rushing along to a set breakfast time. Would recommend this place and hope to stay again if we're in the area again.

My first post-pandemic visit to this well established tavern. The ale was in fine condition and the novel 'Fish-finger Baguette' a tasty and novel light lunch.
What isn't obvious from the roadside, is the suntrap back garden to the rear of the property. A delight, when the sun does shine.

Nice room could be lovely room
Punch as a huge brewery need to back these hard working guys it's hard enough as it is. I work away and stop in pubs like this alot and some could be unbelievable places to stop for the night/ weekend if the money was put into them please help these guys like Graham great host and tried so hard

Absolutley lovely place!! Easy parking out front, nice bar and garden and even lovelier staff. Food and drink at a really reasonable price and great value for money, would highly recommend!

Well looked after pub in radstock. Bar staff are friendly, they have a pool table. Food menu is standard pub grub. Interior decor is comfortable.
