Always a friendly place to visit. Food is well portioned & tasty too! Vegitarian options available. This is a dog friendly establishment with plenty of space & walks all around. Live music every night. Function rooms & marquee, roof terrace & well equipped playground for the children. Look out for events on Facebook etc! Ample parking to the rear of the pub.

Visited for lunch which was really good and value for money. Service however was abysmal, ordered food at the bar and basket with cutlery and condiments was plonked in front of us. Ordered coffee later, again at the bar, and was given 3 cups to carry, didn't get offered a tray I had to ask for one. Shouldn't have bothered with the coffee, the machine they have is rubbish. Ordered lattes, which didn't come in a glass but large cup. First one looked ok, other two were 3/4 full. Asked if cups could be topped up to be told it's the cups they're using which doesn't make sense when the first cup was fine. Said they could put some water in them, which made coffee look black and weak so asked for milk and was given cartons which just made the coffee cold. In hindsight we should've asked for new coffees. The Nescafé satchets taste better. I don't expect silver service but they need to remember it's a restaurant and not a cafe and please invest in a decent coffee machine.
