The Tartan Tea Rooms at the Top of Rainford offers quality food, great service and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, it's very small so you might find yourself queueing on a Saturday morning as people wait for the ultimate in breakfasting. Bottomless Coffees delivered to your table and the Special brakfast has to be seen to be believed. The platter(or should I say Tray) almost covered the table. The food is good, no grease to be seen. If you happen to go at lunchtime they offer the most fabulous steak baguette which is perfectly complemented by a bowl of hearty soup. This would have five stars if it was larger as it is definitely a victim of its own success.

Nice little tea room, Jacket potatoes are lovely, and they certainly don't skimp on the fillings.😋 Really friendly staff welcoming to everyone who went in. I was also served a "side helping" of Netflix recommendations🙂 Thanks girls that's my weekend viewing sorted.

A lovely little tea rooms in Rainford. They couldn't do enough for us. Food was good. Asked for 2 cups of tea and got 2 pots of tea about 3 cups in each. Will definitely go back

Tea Rooms provided 200 packed lunches for The Rotary 1285 Disabled Sports Day. Fantastic comments. I would highly recommend them for all your catering requirements. 10/10

I have not been to the shop we had food from here on a fund raising night ant it was fantastic would use again fantastic. Hotpot and chicken curry and rice
