Wonderful food. Ate the best toastie I’ve ever had!! A nice selection of cake including a Turkish delight chocolate cake made with real Turkish delight pieces. Tip top service - efficient, genuinely friendly and warm staff. Really beautiful china and a nice ambiance. Will definitely return.

An absolute brilliant place with the two lovely ladies, who pampered to our every need at my "Surprise" 60th Birthday Celebrations - It was an amazing afternoon and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the occassion - Would highly recommend the place x Thanks

Wonderful little place. My nan went for her birthday and they couldn't have made her feel more special. They also allowed me to drop in a bottle of bubbles, so she had a unexpected surprise to add to her enjoyment of the day and they could not have been more kind, efficient and accommodating with my request. Great little find, would 100% recommend it.

Highly recommend! Thankyou ladies for a fabulous afternoon tea! All stops were pulled out for our group of 13 mummies and 13 babies all 6 months old or younger. Wonderful afternoon, great food and lovely venue. See you again soon for another mummy lunch. Merry Christmas to you all at the Berwick tea rooms.

A really lovely local tea room, in a country setting. Friendly staff and lovely food. Their toasted sarnie scare the best! What more could we want? Maybe a license so we could have a glass of Prosecco with our cake!

Lovely and vintage, reasonably priced - £4.50 for a cream tea and a good place to have a good chin wag!

A fab venue with excellent food & service .... yesterday’s baby shower was perfect all thanks to Clare and The Berwick Tea Room team, one of the most tasty afternoon teas I’ve had (I’ve had quite a few!). The sarni’s & cakes were stunning and the service was perfect x I would highly recommend checking this one out xxxxx

My formal night on the 13th May was held at this venue and although it took many months to organise, I was very impressed with the table service on the night, the food was amazing (which I had sampled with the head chef previous to the formal night) and the marquee had been decorated to a high standard which was organised by Mark and Pooja (the coordinators for that night). I would highly recommend this venue as all of my guests were very happy with the food and service as well as the ample parking space and great reception from the staff.

I have used this hotel and restaurant twice and booked my next stay and would recommend it. A very pleasant hotel. The staff are welcoming and the food is very good. The surroundings are equally pleasant.

We didn't eat, we were here for an event for MIND charity. From arriving to leaving we can't fault the service and friendliness of staff. We had a fabulous day/evening and will definitely be back. Clean toilets, reasonably priced drinks and a good vibe 👏👏

Been here a couple of times. It's a really nice venue. The food is great as is the service and staff. The last time we were here was for my mums wake. The staff were really helpful at such an incredibly difficult time, they took really good care of us and all who came to raise a glass in mums memory. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Stayed here a few times and always great but found out last night they are in administration. Problem with locks on the door to get in the room. The biggest problem is with the water and thermostats. Could not use the shower as was scolding hot and would not regulate. I hope that these issues are resolved soon as it's a lovely place to stay and set in a great location. The only reason you did not receive 5*

Went to this Restaurant today for lunch. There were 15 of us and we had the set menu. The food was excellent and Lindsey and the rest of the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they looked after us extremely well. Will definitely be going again.

Attended the House/Soul event on 25th Feb 2017. Do not attempt to get to The Manor by public transport because the walk involves a narrow country road with no pavement, walking on grass at night is not fun. The music was great, especially the house room but the drinks were very expensive. £8 for a double JD and coke, £5 for single. £4 for a Bud beer. Everyone was having a good time though regardless.

The Manor is back to its old self! It's like being back home, most of the old staff are back and the food is fantastic. And it's good to see Giovanni's smiling face. Sunday lunch was so lovely.
