A great restaurant for a family meal, from the organisation to the meal itself the staff really looked after us. The food was fantastic and there is a bar area with comfy booths to enjoy a pre/post meal drink in. Overall this was an awesome evening.

Having resided in the locality for six years I decided to try this restaurant. And I wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed a very nice prawn biryani dish with an excellent mango chutney. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff are wonderful. The bar is well-stocked and it makes for a nice evening visit.

Very pleasantly surprised by this place. Gave it a go while working near by. The food was really good, service was fast and the staff were very friendly. Nice decor inside too, really nice place to enjoy a meal.
We would definitely go back when next in the area!
Parking just around the back is very handy too!

Hands down best Indian food within a million miles other places might be cheaper but I thought prices where reasonable. Staff where very welcoming and polite.. Food was delivered hot and fresh.. My new go to place don't listen to the moaners take it from me a picky eater I cleaned the plate and I normally pick bits off I don't like..

Absolutely amazing food. First time dining here tonight with my husband and was very happy. Food was hot and toast. Staff very polite and pleasant. Will be returning again. One of the best curry's we've had. Thank you :)

Went tonight for our son's birthday, such a lovely friendly restaurant, food exceptional absolutely beautiful.. nothing too much for staff very attentive. Wouldn't hesitate to return!! x highly recommend x

Such a stunning atmosphere and the food is gorgeous. Staff are all so friendly and are always on top of everything, making sure everyone’s okay and got everything they need. Gorgeous cocktails too, I recommend the ”Glug Jug” it’s so fruity and tasty🤩🤩
Highly recommended. Waiter always gave me & my boyfriend a free shot of Tequila Rose as they got on so well and was so lovely of him so thank you! Will be back!

Second time I've visited here for a curry this year and it was great. Great pickle tray, starters and main. Fast and tasty.
Good ambience in the restaurant, although we were in at 17:30 so it wasn't busy at all.

#Neveragain<br/>Despite the overtly decorated and inviting entrance, Blue Mango disappoints you tremendously with its dishes. Unfortunately, despite the tall claim of serving Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi food, the place is far from serving any of these cuisines, inadvertently misleading it's customers. Butter chicken, which happens to be one of the commonest and best known dishes from that part of the World, has been given such a twist that if it could, it would beg the chef to not name it butter chicken.<br/>The staff is most complacent and condescending to your woes and concerns.<br/>Despite being thoroughly let down by our main course dishes including Tadka dal, the only saving grace was the beautifully done butter naan which was crisp, sumptuous and huge. My one star is for that.<br/>

My experience of the Blue Mango has always been the same. Excellent for Service, Excellent for the surroundings and ambiance, and Excellent for the very tasty food.<br/>The prices are very reasonable, and the menu is quite extensive. If you don't see what you want on the menu, Bish or Banu will order it for you.<br/>They have a good selection of beers at the bar, an a good wine list, again, all reasonably priced.<br/>As with most things in life, you can't please everyone. But the staff at the Blue Mango will certainly try their best.<br/>I would strongly recommend you try it.

Never again. Unfriendly service to start. Main meal arrived and I could smell the chicken was off, fortunately before I ate any of it! On informing the manager, he was totally defensive and wouldn't accept what we were saying. We had to leave because of babysitting and they offered to do our meals again to take away. Got home and they'd given us one meal, not the 3 we ordered and no rice. No offer of a refund either, just refusal to accept the chicken was off...even my dog would have turned his nose up at it!

Absolutely fantastic! Friendly staff/atmosphere and the best Indian food by a country mile I've tasted! All cooked to my personal preference! A little on the pricier side but you get what you pay for in life eh!! Comfortable and relaxing restaurant. 9.5/10

Lovely restaurant, fab food and courteous efficient service. I was very surprised to read some bad reviews here about Blue Mango. I go there often. The food is delicious and gets better all the time, the staff are extremely pleasant and courteous and the service is excellent. I can't understand why there are a couple of bad reviews here. I have been there countless times and I'm never disappointed (and I am very picky about good food and good service).

Recommended. Just read the first few bad comments - and totally disagree. The Blue Mango is first class - we're regulars and have always had top service & excellent food as have many of our friends. I would always recommend the Blue Mango.

Appalling. I went to Blue Mango's sunday buffet and I have honestly never been treated so badly by a restaurant before. When we arrived it was a ghost town, which should have sent alarm bells ringing but I decided to give them a chance. The food was mediocre to say the least and very limited choice for a buffet. After finishing our first plate I asked the waiter if we could have clean plates and was promptly told no that I would have to use the same plate if I wanted to return to the buffet. I didn't like the korma that I had on my first plate enough to see it mixed in with another food so I decided not to get anything else. We got up and left and paid a total of £28 for two plates of watery food, two popadums, a glass of juice, a glass of water and a rude waiter. I complained to the manager, was laughed at and told "You can't please everyone". Who can blame him for laughing really, when I'd just forked over £28 for cheap bland food and poor service.

Experince blue mango. We were never into indian cusine until the blue mango was recommended to us .we now go every week .the staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble the food is 1st class. we would highly recommend the blue mango with 100% confidence.we rate this a4**** +

Lovely Indian Restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. Blue Mango Indian restaurant is my favourite Indian restaurant, I used to go else were until me and my boyfriend discovered Blue Mango. I recommend this restaurant to every one I meet now .if u want a delicious meal please please please go to Blue Mango you will not be disappointed I can guarantee that. I'm going on mothers day for the buffet priced at £8.95 eat as much as you want I can't wait xxx

Very Satisfied. My boyfriend and I go to the blue mango weekly. We have been goin here since it opened and have also been on new years eve. There is always a warm welcome and staff are accomidating to all your needs. Staff always keep on top of drinks and ask how our meal is. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Very upset. I used to be a regular visitor to this restaurant but will no longer go there. I work with a group of teenagers with autism, doing social activities such as going for meals etc. We visited the blue mango and found the staff to be very hostile and unwelcoming. The door which had been open was closed on our leaving and I was disgusted by their attitude, I have never seen anything like it and hope not to again. Attitude and the way we were treated was absolutely disgraceful!

DAUGHTERS 21ST. A group of six of us went along to the Blue Mango in Rainhill today the 14th Feb. My Daughter came home from Leeds to be with us for her 21st birthday. Everything was very nice. the place looked lovely with all the Valentines balloons and the staff very pleasant, We were made very welcome. The food was most enjoyable i really did enjoy the onion bhajis.<br/>What made it really special was the "party extra" which included the happy birthday balloons, an ice fountain which was wonderful and a individual cake which was delicious. They also played "Happy Birthday " and took some photos for us. We had a lovely couple of hours there.

Where to start, we had to find our own seats when we walked in as noone was there to welcome us. we were not offered drinks orders before ordering food and were given not much time to choose. i asked for a dish i have at another indian and was abruptly told that i could not have that as it doesnt exist. the food arrived promptly but was terrible, the chicken used was not fresh but was processed and hard. this was very disappointing with the prices being higher than others in the town. noone came to ask if we were enjoying the food and it was ok, and 2 drinks orders were wrong. when it came to the end of the meal i asked for the bill. i paid by card and was abruptly asked whether i would be adding anything to the bill. for that reason my answer was no. on leaving i had to find my own coat as noone seemed to know where it had been put. i wouldnt eat there again.
