Despite problems with the gas in the kitchen a decent meal was served. A great, plump beef and ale pie. Helpful staff.

If you stop by, go for the cheese and onion pie! The roast was good. Potatoes were just perfect. I had better gravy and the beef was well cooked.

I am sorry I have no pictures, but everything was lovely. The staff is polite and friendly, the price very reasonable and the food delicious. My granddaughter is extremely fussy about her food, but thoroughly enjoyed it, as we all did. Thank you so much 💓

The Sunday roast sharing platter was absolutely fantastic and such good value for money. 3/4 pieces of each meat (ham, turkey and beef) loads of veg, mash etc - and unlimited gravy! Everything homemade and you can tell the chef clearly takes pride in what they are serving, perfectly seasoned too. Nice decor and friendly service. Will definitely be back!

We came the Thursday before Easter Weekend. We love it here and have been back time after time as a couple and with friends. This visit did not disappoint. We had a great table in front of the window with lovely views. The food was DELICIOUS. To start I ordered the Haddock and Prawn Rillette and it was amazing. My wife had the Duck Spring Rolls which you could tell was homemade as it was packed full of duck. We then both had the famous pies, my wife the cheese and me the steak. First time we've actually had the pies here and they honestly are so good.
