Visited today for the first time. Brought my baby and even though the cafe was full and space was tight, the staff (and customers) went completely out of their way to accommodate us with a pram. Nothing was too much trouble!! So friendly and to top it off, great food and lovely coffee!! X

First time visit, went for a toastie and the burger. Very enjoyable and reasonably priced too, although looking around the shop whilst waiting the jars of sauces etc on offer are very expensive.

I go here regularly for lunch. Always cracking food. Last week's special (honey salt and pepper chicken) Was the best yet. Can't recommend enough.

The unprepossessing shop front belies the treasures inside. As well as a wide variety of take away options including sandwiches etc. they sell a small but well chosen selection of farmhouse cheeses, locally produced salted and unsalted butter, Fentimans and other drinks such as saspirilla and dandelion and burdock. Vegetarian pate and a selection of pies were delicious. Do visit.

Very good sandwiches. Unfortunately it's the wrong side of the border so I can't give 5 stars! Try the Lancashire sauce. Obviously I can't purchase as it's got a red rose on it!

Lovely food from local places, great prices, friendly staff, homemade sausage rolls are the best! The Lancashire sauce is a must have for every kitchen.
