Kimji Korean Restaurant

Reluctantly I write a glowing review. Why reluctantly? Because the place is tiny and I don't want to find myself unable to book a table. In spite of that, don't ever come in a hurry. The service is painfully slow. I even ran out of time even though i hadn't had chance to order all the dishes I wanted because I arrived at 7pm and the kitchen closed at 9pm. I wasn't pleased but what I'd had was excellent. Not a huge variety of dishes, The Koreana in Manchester has a much wider selection, but what is made here is exceptional value and beautifully flavoured. Ramsbottom is a lovely village, and this little restaurant contributes to the sentiment of that experience. They're dog friendly too!!

Our first time trying KimJi and we weren't dissapointed. The food was presented very nicely and tasted great. We got a variety of dishes to try and were pleased with them all. Staff were very friendly too. Aside from the main menu there was also options for a lunch menu and a summer menu so lots to chose from and everything was very affordable.

Happened to stumble up here after craving Korean food. Food was very good, - Korean fried chicken was still crispy with sauce over it. - Brown rice tea used fresh leaves and came in a pot. - both desserts were really tasty too. - we ended up with 11 people so they kindly open upstairs for us so we had the room to ourselves. -lunch menu was affordable and came with a few extra things I would recommend and come again

Such a good little place, perfect location too! Food very tasty - had the Chicken Bibimbap, Grilled Aubergine Lettuce wraps and Kimchi. Was quite busy so food took a while to come, but can't fault the service - I literally got a beer within 10 seconds of asking (sat at the barside countertop). Only downside was the amount of people stood waiting for takeout and delivery orders crowding the place. Will be visiting again!

Some of the best Asian food I've had in ages! It's so great to have a Korean restaurant on our doorstep that serves food this good! Despite only opening this week the staff were fantastic and super knowledgeable about the menu and produce used. Really polite, fun and worked hard to make sure we had a great experience. The food was incredible, I think between the four of us we had all the starters! They looked so good that we just tucked in straight away and forgot to take photos but believe me when I say that Korean Fried Chicken and the garlic Korean Fried Chicken were stunning! The mains were equally as tasty and looked fantastic! I had the seafood udon noodles and it was stunning, great mix of seafood and the noodles were perfect! A great new addition to Ramsbottom and I can't wait to go again! Great food, good selection of Asian beers and spirits, amazing staff and just a fantastic night! I wish you all the best guys and can't wait to try that KFC again 🤤
