I wish I had found this place sooner. Absolutely fantastic service and food. Very accommodating and no problems with our excitable 2 year old.
I'll be going back next week for an afternoon tea.
It's a small location but spaced out enough that you are not on top of each other, with seating upstairs, downstairs and outside.
I highly recommend a visit.

I love visiting The Hive! The meat and veggie breakfasts are so yummy as well as the sweet treats available. The owner is so lovely and is so kind to her customers. Always visit when we are on holiday, thoroughly recommend :)

What a delightful place this is. A warm welcome for the four of us. Two locals with us. Decent selection of teas both black and herbal. Soft drinks.
Bruschettas, toasted bread slices on white, multi-grain or sourdough breads. Egg(2xpoached), avocado on Chorizo jam with salmon (£2 extra) with scattered chilli flakes on multigrain bread was to die for. Chicken,bacon and avocado salad with dressing, ask for more if you want it was very flavoursome. Tomato(cherry type and many of them), avocado and balsamic dressing bruschetta was very good.

Cute little café. Came here for brunch with my friends. We were all so hungry that I forgot to take pics. The food was nice and didn't break the bank. I had the poached eggs with avocado on toast, the blueberry and syrup waffle and a cappuccino. All of it came up to about £15. Would go here again :)

Large food menu all fresh and homemade, poached eggs are notoriously spot on!
Cakes look beautiful and taste incredible, freshly made daily.

I go here frequently and every single time the workers are so so nice and generous, you can have general conversations with them and the food is always so delicious and consistent. I’ve not had one bad meal there. The cupcakes are also so good and it’s affordable enough for everyone.

We had a wonderful Christmas ⛄ afternoon tea here and it was delicious. A lovely variety of gorgeous treats, sweet and savoury. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. A fabulous happy and relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be back for more!! Superb

Visited The Hive several times and always had an excellent experience and most recently I had their incredible Christmas afternoon tea. A great selection of well made and delicious items and I love that they don't just have the usual boring afternoon tea food (no cucumber sandwiches thank god!) but offer things like soup and brie and cranberry sliders, mini Eton mess and Ferrero Rocher brownies. Service was polite and attentive. Can't wait to visit again.

What an absolute gem!! After seeing an ad on Instagram we decided to go along for the afternoon tea and it was really lovely! It had a really lovely atmosphere, extremely friendly staff and had really good wheelchair access. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch 😊
