It was very crowded, but the service was good. The food was tasty but was not hot. Waitress took plates back to the kitchen to be reheated. Good atmosphere and selection of drinks.

First time try their scampi,I was surprised that inside was grey and tested strange,later find out,that it's mean raw,after I feel strange all evening,never ever try their scampi,but my husband pie was nice

We had a dinner time meal deal of two for £20 and I have to say it was just brilliant! They were really busy and we hadn't booked but they managed to find us a table, my wife had the fish and chips and I had pie chips peas and gravy. Both were excellent and the service was spot on. I would recommend booking just to make sure you get a table.

We had lovely sunny late lunch and drinks.Both had fish and chips, and it was delicious. Staff very welcome and smiling, polite and chatty.
Great outside space where we enjoyed our drink and short time wait for food(30minutes what we was informed , but it was very busy!).
It was worth it.
We book to back again and try something different in a 2weeks time as our treat to start time off.

Very very tasty and fresh food.
We was too stuffed to have pudding, I love fo try cakes!

Lovely friendly place. Food was really good. Lots of fish specials. Staff were great. Mussels with chorizo and mushrooms were lush. Fish platter great too. Enjoyed a meal with friends and will come here again.

Another great meal, had by all. Booked a table for 6pm and we’re given the choice of two so opted to sit nearer the entrance as there were 5 of us and the area looked a little bigger. We ordered 2 x mixed grills (which are on the large side )New York chicken - nice sized portion, a blackened Cajun salmon off the specials board and a breaded mushrooms and fries (eaten as a main)
All the food was really tasty as usual, the food service wasn’t as quick as we have experienced on previous visits, but there wasn’t a free table so the slightly slower service was to be expected!
I would definitely recommend booking if you are planning on visiting as the pub is always busy
