Cherish your moment there, an iconic heritage site. No wonder it's among the wonders.
Go to the site during proper day light and spend time till evening to enjoy the sunset moment.
The normal entry ticket costs 50 per head, whereas to the podium it will be 150. Of course it's worth visiting and look at the artworks from close eye distance. Keep your token handy, as it is required while exit.
One of the 7 wonders of the world for a reason and that reason can only be experienced and not explained. This was my 2nd visit and once again got mesmerized by its beauty, salute to efforts put into carvings. the gems and stones used glitters in sunlight even after 400 years. Must visit place. Highly recommended!!
Beautiful and well maintained place. Security arrangements were good. Tickets can be booked online using QR code. You must visit this Marvel of architecture at least once.
Incredible place and exceptionally well maintained. I would definitely recommend a guide even if it is just to help guide you through the entry process. We went early. Arrived around 6:30am and waited 15 mins to get in and 15 mins again for entry to the interior of the mausoleum.
One of my most awaited trip to Taj Mahal. It's such a great view and one must atleast once in lifetime (for those from India).
I reached the location at 6 AM and there were tons of people already waiting to enter. You probably can avoid this if it's a weekday (but I am not sure).
If you ask if it's worth entering in Taj Mahal, i would say NO, there is nothing much to see and the crowd keeps pushing you forward and need to keep moving, no photography allowed, but it's i agree it's a good experience to visit once inside the Mahal.
Very nice maintained world heritage monument. Recommended to arrive at Taj early morning from 5:30 - 6:00 am when the queue is not there. Wheelchair are available free. Battery cars take you from the parking for a nominal fee of Rs 20/- per person.
Memories of Greatest love stories left in ancient India and this structure is proof. I suggest you to visit backside view of Tajmahal from opposite yamuna river bank. Introvert like me will mostly enjoys that view😉🥰🥰
The Taj Mahal is a masterpiece of architectural beauty and a symbol of eternal love. Situated in Agra, India, this iconic monument is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most renowned structures in the world. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is a testament to the power of love and the grandeur of Mughal architecture.
The Taj Mahal's stunning white marble facade is adorned with intricate floral motifs and calligraphy, displaying an extraordinary level of craftsmanship. Its symmetrical design and reflection in the adjacent Yamuna River create a captivating sense of harmony and tranquility. The central dome, flanked by four minarets, is a striking feature that adds to the monument's elegance.
Visiting the Taj Mahal is a surreal experience, especially during sunrise or sunset when the changing hues of the marble and the soft lighting create a magical atmosphere. The meticulously maintained gardens, with their serene fountains and pathways, enhance the overall charm.
Incredible place to visit and it looks so much better than the pictures... An additional ticket worth 200 roupees was required to visit the inside of the mousoleum. Please, remember to wear your sunblock and get your water with you. Even a fast paced tour will take more than an hour and you can not purchase any food or drinks on the territory.
Even though it was very, very hot, it was totally worth it!
A massive marble structure, without weight, as if formed of ether, perfectly rational and at the same time entirely decorative, it is perhaps the greatest art work which the forming spirit of mankind has ever brought forth
