The Yard is an absolute gem. Went as a family of 6 (and dog) and had the best lunch in a long time. Burgers, ploughman’s, fish finger sandwiches, wraps, fruit smoothies and milkshakes….all absolutely delicious. You will have to wait 20-25 mins for your food to arrive but it’s worth the wait to have a freshly-made, delicious food at an affordable price.
This is a family-run business. We all need to support businesses like this which provide amazing food, outstanding and friendly service, and keen prices on our doorstep. Lots of parking in the local area less than a 5 min walk away.

Sat in for late breakfast and was not disappointed. Amazing food, great service and chilled atmosphere. Definitely would recommend. We also saw they do Mexican night during the week so will try this out too

Had a late breakfast here. I had the full English which was very good. Reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff. Well worth a visit.

Dined there with my family on one of their Mexican nights. The food and service was great start to finish. The menu was almost entirely gluten free which was great for me and my aunt. The chef came and spoke to us re gluten allergy. After a few bottles of wine and some lovely cocktails, we left very happy. We will return for their breakfast or bottleless brunch

Service a bit slow, but lovely girls and ladies. Not too much on offer for gluten free diners. The only menu available was the afternoon one, I had hoped for some Mexican food. White wine was New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc😃. No bloody Mary though

Very welcoming hosts. Drinks were really presented above the norm. Very fair pricing too. Mexican menu is uncomplicated so easy to choose the right dish. It looked great on the plate and tasted really nice. My. Wife, daughter and I will go again, We recommend to our friends.
