The best coffee in Reading! I usually have oat milk latte and it’s super delicious! Coffee is smooth and full of flavour.
And if I want a treat it’s espresso brownie time.
I haven’t been to all the coffee shops in Reading but I don’t know if I need to keep looking. Tamp is great. Very friendly staff, properly made espresso and espresso-based drinks, lots of milk options. If you are a coffee hobbyist, like you subscribe to James Hoffman’s YouTube channel about coffee, you’ll like Tamp.

I've been going here for years and years, and it's still the yardstick for coffee when I visit other places. I've been to Reading solely to go here many times.
Never anything less than excellent. My 'go to' drink is currently an almond milk piccolo. The cakes are great too.
Best coffee in Reading, very consistent quality and knowledgeable staff serve excellent coffee every time. The cakes and brownies can vary in quality, sometimes OK, sometimes good, occasionally excellent. There is a bench table and a couple small tables if you wish to sit down but this place is exposed to the elements so if it's raining or cold then it can be a bit miserable. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love a Tamp! One of the best coffees you can get in Reading. This place is a staple visit for me whether I'm browsing around town or out on the bike.
I love this kiosk. The baristas are always so friendly and talkative. They have good advice and are always willing to share it. The cakes they make are brilliant and they have vegan options which is great for vegans or just lactose intolerant people. I love the fact I can also buy fresh roasted beans from them too.
Had piccolo with oatmilk which was delicious. They also sell coffee beans at their stand. Recommend
I have ordered a selection of different beans from Tamp I've not tried before (Rwandan and Brazilian). Fantastic coffee, roasted to order so you know they are fresh. Prompt delivery. I would definitely recommend.
