We have been going to this pub for a few years, we have always enjoyed the food, the service and the environment here. The staff are welcoming and friendly we have always had good food served and left with the feeling that we want to come back. So we chose it as our wedding breakfast venue and every
Country side location. Friendly pleasant staff. Fresh food well presented, tasty and generous portions. Garden space.
Quaint relaxing pub next to a Premier Inn located in outer Reading. The service was quicker than an F1 pit crew stop and food so tasty I was looking for Mr Ramsay himself. Free parking, lots of seating and a fantastic selection of drinks. Looking forward to returning again !
We always chose The Old Bell when visiting the area, so today was no exception. The young man who greeted us was not very enthusiastic and needed to improve on his engagement with customers. He made us feel like we were an inconvenience. A lady who we assume was a manager or supervisor showed us to
We were staying nearby in a hotel and decided based on reviews to check this place out. Pre-booked 6pm Sunday with 2 adults and 2 kids (5&6). I'm quite picky over roast dinners and get frustrated when you go out and it tastes nowhere near as nice as what you cook yourself. Not at this pub. WOW the Y
Really lovely lunch. Not the cheapest place but everything was really nice only think I would change is one of the bread with the camembert as it was far too crumberly to dip.

The menu suited us very well and our meals were served presented appetisingly and were delicious.we will definitely recommend The Bell and revisit i

Old Bell has a very nice menu, quite extensive that can satisfy different taste buds. I had the Sunday Roast with Rib of Beef. It was delicious and tasted just as I had imagined. The staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. This is a nice restaurant with family and
Wow! The whole experience was outstanding. From the joyous greeting staff, to the lovely waitress, Meg, and finally the delicious food, our whole time here was amazing. Would definitely come again and again.
Lovely gastropub with nice decor and friendly service. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating. Good food with decent children's menu. Adults meal isn't cheap but quality justifies the price so worth a treat and pleasant place to take friends.
Just two of us using some Tesco vouchers(£30) to part pay for our meal, we had 2 courses, soft drinks and coffee and only had to pay £18 Food was good but not excellent, slow cooked pork was very fatty. Slow cooked lamb a bit dry, more gravy needed too. Dessert was actually better than mains, but ne
