Workhouse Coffee

When in search of a coffee shop that is not overrated but delivers the caffeine boost you needed — go to Workhouse Coffee. Today is my first time here and surely will come back! They got variety of beans and you will not be disappointed. The cheese cake that I tried today is so decadent.. can’t wait to try the others. The staff is so friendly, offering all smiles and you can feel her sincerity. The ambiance is so relaxed and cozy. I will definitely come back to this place and recommend to friends!

I had been introduced to Workhouse coffee by a friend who was self-described as a 'coffee sommelier', not caring much for coffee or the taste, but rather the caffeine element I had no expectations. But after sometime here, I found that coffee in surrounding shops doesn't quite cut it anymore. The coffee itself is smooth and they're not short of variety either. I found getting a coffee here to be like getting a haircut, depending on who is behind the counter, you will get a slightly different drink, which is by no way a negative. The shop itself is quaint, and quite charming, lacking the corporate element of Nero or Starbucks. But the staff behind the counter are the main reason for this review. I have yet to have a negative experience here, special shout out to Jess, best smile, best coffee, and flawless consistency, some of the reasons why coming to Workhouse coffee is now apart of my daily routine. Massive thanks to the rest of the team too, you can tell they genuinely enjoy their job and take pride in their work. Best, - Latte 2 sugars.
