Close to the University of Reading, this Indian restaurant is one of the best I have tried recently! It serves a wide range of Indian dishes from various parts of India. Tried the Hyderabadi Biryani that had chicken & minced meat, really liked it!
Also had another curry dish with nan, that turned out to be great tasting too. Bottled Lemonade & other drinks are available.
The prices for fishes about £ 9-13, but if you can make it on Sunday, there is a buffet for £10.95 adults & 5.95 kids with all you can eat!
Service is friendly & the place is spacious & feels authentic, worth the bit of waiting for freshly prepared Indian dish!
Ordered a takeaway for 7 of us on 20/6/23. Discussed choices with manager beforehand and all of the group remarked positively, and independently, about food taste, value and quantity. There was no over sell or irritation with assistance . Charming staff . Food was fresh, tasty and plentiful with a good variety of unfamiliar dishes . Wholly recommend and would return for a ‘ sit down’ meal if in that area again . Tables were beautifully laid up and bar appeared well stocked. Thank you 😊
Sunday Buffet with unbelievable price for only £9.95/person & children under 10 years for £5.95.
Fine Bangladeshi & Indian cuisines. Fresh & delicious foods for vegetarian & non vegetaria with various choices of starters, tandoori, curry, salad, rice and breads.
