Pizza Express very rarely disappoints unless you get bad or slow service. The waiter service was excellent but the wait time was very lengthy. It took about 30 minutes for our starter to arrive and then another 15 minutes for the Pizzas. The pizzas certainly didn’t disappoint - I ordered the Veggie Leggera and my partner ordered the Americano thin slice. You have the choice of the type of base you want classic or thin and they also have gluten free options and vegan. Apart from the long wait for the food it was lovely. The other thing that rocks are the Polenta chips, they are so good!!!

This is a restaurant I don't visit regularly, but their food is definitely worth a try. We ordered the dough balls to share, served with butter, pesto and a spicy tomato dip. They were fresh, soft and cheesy.

The Arabbiata pasta was a tad overcooked, and the chicken was rubbery. Also, their service was incredibly slow, even though the restaurant was not packed.

The dough balls are their best seller and a delight (though not good for your body at all). I prefer the one that comes with an array of dips. The veggies and quinoa salad was a generously portioned bowl of goodness. But too much rocket erased all the flavor (as it always does). We ordered the vegetarian padana and gardiniera pizzas and soothing ginger lime sodas to wash it all down. The pizzas were good, even the one with fried aubergine on the top. But I'm not sure they merit the price tag. It was a busy evening and the service was average as well. Most of their outlets are always packed; someone please explain to me why? Probably the dough balls.

Whilst I enjoyed the taste of the salad I do think that £10.95 is expensive for what you get and I feel even more short changed now I have realised that 2 things were missing from it. I like that Pizza Express are offering lower calorie options but this was just not enough to keep me full!
